EDIT: also been having alot of active sync issues

I reflashed the ROM and now the call history issue seems to be gone, not exactly sure what happened.

I know a lot of people are having this issue. I actually use the lock feature with a simple pin and I don't have this problem at all. Only time I get the lock screen is after my preset time has gone by or when I lock it manually. Hope this helps.

yeah i have confirmed it on my daughters diamond.

i reflashed her with it cooked in and didnt restore any txts. about a week later she was telling me that it was slow. i checked it out and it was laggy as can be and just acted all funky.

id say id find out on my tp2 but i went back to the wm app and restored my txts lol.

I know I synced about 1700 text msgs my first time I flashed this ROM and the HTC msg app didn't like that at all. I even gave it time for all the texts to "settle in" so to speak and still really buggy. If you text a lot you are better off just disabling HTC msg app for now.

Yea, with the original messaging app it takes some time for resynced messages to thread, but it seems impossible with this new version. The 900 txts I had in there are what I accumulated since I got the TP2 when it came out. I don't mind continuing to archive them to MyPhone. In fact, I sent a request to Microsoft for them to add an "auto archive after two weeks" type feature .

I'll see how it continues to work as my text counts grow...
