Of course you don't have it, you are using this Rom and like I said THIS IS THE ONLY ROM that I have heard functions like this.

QuickGPS is not the issue although the QuickGPS data is correct/updated

whenever you get around 1000 sms your htc sms gets really buggy had to soft reset 3 times this morn due to lockups

I have not come across any ROMs, stock or otherwise, on either the original TP or TP2 that do not show some sort of lag using internal GPS. Perhaps this ROM is slightly better than others you've compared it to in that regard, but I still notice lag... that said, it's not much, and with alerts and turn previews set to on, I personally have not missed turns, and it saves me having to lug dedicated GPS devices, especially on trips...

QuickGPS just helps with the timing of the actual GPS lock, not the performance of the GPS software...

Found out how to replicate this / the cause. Launching Mesagging will revert the "Silent" profile back to "Normal". At first I could get it to switch from silent to normal just by entering Messaging (Outlook). Now I've noticed it will do it some times but not every time. I can also see it does it when entering HTC Messaging. Again, it's not doing it 100% of the time, but I can get it to do it every time if I switch from the user's messages tab to their detail tab. The instant I switch, my volume icon on the task bar switches from the silent icon to the normal icon.

I guess HTC think you should have sound on when reviewing messages???

I installed Dusk_6.5_lockscreen v3 theme to my Touch Pro 2 and it worked fine but I decided to uninstall it because I decided to liked the stock better. Anybody else having a delay in their music screen appearing when they switch to that tab? The tab will appear instantly but will be blank. The CD thumbnail and all icons take about 15 seconds to pop up. This happens every single time I switch to the tab. Even if I switch to it and wait for everything to appear, then move off it and back on I have to wait another 15 seconds. Happens again if I tap on the menu shortcut key and go to properties for instance, and come out of the menu.

I have all of my music on SD, and there is probably about 10GB+ at least. I can't be the only one with that much (or little?) music?

I know there's gotta be a registry entry somewhere that determines how long you have to hold down a key on the default TP2 SIP keyboard (Touch Input) before the "alternate" key is typed. For example, before the number "1" is typed when you hold down the "q" key...

In my opinion, you have to hold it down WAY too long. Probably 300ms is all thats needed tops. I bet its currently set at 1 sec. That would be a huge enhancement to the speed of the SIP typing experience...

I don't think it's something that should be cooked in...each to their own and all that...but I agree with you. I think it's a matter of finding out if there is a tweak / registry setting, and if so just using that for those who prefer it. I'd be one
