Well I went to the Beta from last week. At 8:02 PM I was at 43% battery. At 8:15 PM I am now at 28%. All I did was manually use active sync for mail to my Exchange server twice and add favorites icons to the home screen. No modfications to the ROM. I am going to go back to 2.0 R4 tomorrow and see if I stabilize.

I'm cooking a 21686 version of 3.0 now and will post here in a couple of hours. If you guys wounldn't mind testing it out for me and letting me know how battery life compares with the 23563 version of the same exact ROM.

But just as a case in point, over the last four hours I've had email (google and hotmail) syncing every 30 min, Twitter updating every hour, weather updating every hour, couple text and calls and had UC Web up and open the whole time. I started that with about 53% battery life and right now I have 41% battery. That doesn't seem bad to me at all. Especially with having had the browser open the whole time...

I was trying to think what I changed since 2.0 R4. I replaced Notification Enhancement and made the Action Links. Straightup, I'm assuming that you remove the action links? Some graphic work, but that wouldn't affect memory at all. I did go from 21686 to 23563, but I hope that my 23563 is not to blame. Maybe I'll put up a 21686 v3.0 for comparison purposes..

Can some other people speak up on battery life? Over three hundred downloads so far, I just need a few responses please.

dude c'mon man a memory issue? not even close bro!! never have even come close to one since before the rom was ever released,and same goes for battery? how many times did we test this rom and countless other builds and ect? never once been a issue but on this one i can't figure out whats sucking the life out the battery,you know pretty much my setup,never changes and i just die withing 4 hrs........i dunno on this one

I couldn't tell you good/bad battery life. (on and off the charger work/home at lot plus bought 3 extra cheap amazon batteries for deer season) I just never pay attention. Maybe you guys can tell me since I didn't use my phone much today.

Running 6.5.x, no Co0kie/RSS, ][ Weather, twitter, email set every hr, backlight on auto today, phone dim/off on batt power set on 2/3 minutes, wife's factory EVO battery in today.

Unplugged phone 100% at 11:35 am. (FYI too busy at work so it never got plugged in to charge). Only 1 phone call (bout 10 mins), no texts, used opera mini5 for around 30 mins on lunch and a couple other brief times on break. Got home at 9:30 pm. (10hrs total) battery at 70% even.

3 email accounts checking every 5 min.
blue-tooth on for an hour or so transferring pics from the computer.
auto adjust back light
4 phone calls
40 txts or so
64.37 free
and 48% battery at 9:15 at night.

just curious, what does everyone use an their lock/unlock program for when their phones are in their pockets? i uses s2u2 but it seems to be having a problem where when the phone wakes up from a text or something, s2u2 will miss my first swipe to unlock. sometimes it will also just swipe halfway across. but if i let my phone wakeup for 2 seconds and then swipe it is all gravy. s2u2 has always been pretty snappy for me except recently. anyone like any programs better? anyone like the program built in to cookie?
