It's so weird that you and some others are having this issue. I've never had any problems charging my phone anywhere.

the slidewake up situation being that:

When the screen is off and UNlocked, sliding open the phone does NOT cause the screen to come on.

When the screen is off and PASSWORD LOCKED, sliding open the phone DOES cause the screen to come on, but the phone stays locked.

When the screen is off and NOT password locked, sliding open the phone DOES cause the screen to come and the phone to be unlocked.

That's my experience of it anway. Definitely something that needs to be moved to the front of my to do list. We'll see how it goes... No fixes for this as of yet.

thanks sharkie. i will keep watching. ofcourse i can get around it and use a s2u2 or some other locking method that doesnt unlock on its own.

Which one of Vinn's ROMs is it that does not have this problem. I just loaded up his Nov. 28 Plutonium ROM and it does the same thing, but worse. His wakes up even when it's not locked. That regedit can fix that part of it, but as far as the lockscreen unlocking when the keyboard is opened... it does that too.

I loaded his ROM to have a look at it's registry to see if I could find something out that way. Let me know which of his ROMs definitely don't have these issues and I'll load that one up to see.

is utask installed via cab or cooked in,not something i will be using,i recall when cooked into roms it wasn't so hot (OTHER CHEFS) but it has been updated so im hoping its either not so buggy as has been on roms i have used before or that it can be removed,dl 29007 as IMO its the best build of the 3

uTask is being installed as a cab, so you can remove it. I'm pretty sure that it will use less resources then MM Task Manager which had to stay running in order for it to be used to close programs with "X".

Let me know if you see any of the bugginess you're talking about that you've seen in other ROMs. So far, I've seen none.

all i had on last rom was the caller id issue,this has ran flawless all damn day,if i didnt wanna see who was calling i wouldn't even flash,cool i know it uses less resources and im gonna give it a shot,but i never used mmtask manager either

ever since arkswitch got updated back in late nov. i never had any issue with it so its my choice of task manager,we all have things that work ways we want since we all use our phones different best thing is you give us choice via cab install rather than cooking in the package
