Glad you're liking it so far. As far as the text that shows just before boot up, I was just playing around and forgot to change that. It's fugly! I'll be the first to say. I kept forgetting about it because it's only seen once for a few seconds at boot up.

The startup.wav is the Mario "1up" sound. I timed it so it plays as the windows circle slides across the screen in the second part of the startup.gif.

I paid for resco and I use resco task manager so I remove mm task manager and use ameba. I love that you have the option to remove the stuff we dont want.

@ Everyone,

Someone mentioned in a PM to me that they thought this ROM had memory drain issues. Anyone having any sort of memory issues? I don't think there's a problem in this area since I ran the core of this ROM for over a month with no memory issues.

I'm running V2.0 R4 (I think it's four) and I love it. Best ROM I've ever had (better than anything I've ever cooked too), and my question is, what's the difference between the Cutting Edge Series and just plain V#.

So, I'm on the Sprint 6.5 ROM and I just noticed that on the hardware keyboard none of the directional arrows work.

Can someone who's flashes a 6.5 ROM let me know if they are getting this as well?

Edit: Nevernind. I hard reset, did my usual set up and it's working fine now. Must have been a fluke. Perhaps I should have Task29'ed before this last flash!

Edit 2: So, it's back. The only thing I did between my last edit and this one was set up my email acct. and play some music using Sense. When I played music I also adjusted the volume. I noticed that the up and down arrows on the hardware keyboard are now acting as volume controls and the left and right arrows do nothing. Anyone ever heard of this?? ...And is anyone on the 6.5.X ROM experiencing this? I am using a different volume control fix (HTC Volume Control.dll) that I just put in yesterday for the first time for the 6.5 Taskbar icons. This is probably the issue. 6.5 users please let me know if you have this same bug.

Edit 3: Now I just noticed that the arrows on the SIP also do the same thing. I'm going to pull the 6.5 ROMs down until I can figure this out.

I had this issue after I put the Beta on my TP2, after a couple reset button presses they started working . . . I was freaking out for a bit.

BTW - Still running the beta strong, no major issues, yet

I called those ROMs the "Cutting Edge Series" just because they were exactly that. There were the newest WM builds leaked to the public. Since they were fresh and for the most part untested on my part, I needed a way to differentiate these untested new builds from my official SharkieROM. The introduction paragraph to Cutting Edge Series is still in the 1st post and it explains a bit more about them.

When I release a versionXXX it's one that I've ran and had beta tested and feel comfortable with.

Yeah, I noticed later on last night that they were working again and I think it happened after I soft reset. Maybe I didn't do that before, I can't remember.
Thanks for letting me know. I'm in the middle of testing some other stuff in the hopes of fixing it so it won't happen at all, we'll see.

Edit: So I'm fairly certain that I've fixed the arrows not working. I've tested and tested and tested and all seems well. I'm building the 6.5 ROMs now. Assuming all goes well when I flash them, I'll upload them tonight. Won't be for a couple hours though...

yes i have and this is the end result each time, gonna reflash,caught me by surprise because it was happening before any mods were added

Aight, 6.5 Sprint ROM is back up! I swapped out the HTC Volume Control.dll for a different one and all seems to be well. I haven't had any issues with the arrows on the keyboards at all. The Generic version is uploading now and I'll post that link in the morning.

Quick check in. First day flukes were one timers. Everything settled in smooth. Ran her pretty hard today and she responded flawless. Good work as always.

No issues here, but I'm not as much a numbers guy as much as how does it perform. I always do a morning reset to get the day going and CleanRam as needed. Here's an interesting read I ran across previously.
