is flashing from storage card risky? I won't have a pc for a week. I've never tried it.

actually safer than flashing via comp...no chance of usb unplugging, or computer doing something wompy while your flahing.
just unzip the rar
find the "signed_RUU.nbh"
rename to RHODIMG.nbh
****make sure when you rename it doesn't end up RHODIMG.nbh.nbh***
copy to root of fat 32 formated sd card with nothing else on the root other than folders-----no files
pull battery
put batter back in
VOL DOWN + POWER go to bootloader
then it flashes

dont forget to backup prior to flashing. if you are task 29, this is the way you will be flashing the rom.

you can flash task 29 from sd the same way as flashing any other rom....just rename the "signed_RUU.nbh" to RHODIMG.nbh...pull the battery, put it back in, POWER DOWN + POWER flashes any rom

just flashed.

battery and memory widgets are awesome! just wish you could get rid of the background on those and set text color too. at least now I can hide the taskbar since all I kept it around for was to show battery life.

I did notice the hold X to close programs works better now. memory shows about 30% free at startup.

I do like the new Windows taskbar icons. much better! overall, seems faster and performs well. a few tweaks and we'll be perfect! I think two more quick link should be made available to us. please?

the 333mb sprint ROM contains the correct 6-5 ROM... just contains the 6-3 rar within it..

Will do. I'm downloading BigMaxSense 6/5 rom right now. Once done, I'll try that.

The task 29 I downloaded didn't have a signed_RUU.nbh file in it. Can I just add any one or do I need a specific one. I think I read somewhere where I can use a splash screen or something?

EDIT: Ok, so I'm still having issues with Task 29. I have one that is an exe file and I have one that came in a .rar file. I also have one in .zip. The instructions say to just unzip and run it. Where do I unzip it to? How do I run the exe file when it is not recognized as a pocket pc program? I renamed the .nbh file from the rar that I had and tried to flash like I do my roms...it acts like its flashing, then I get 0058002 in red letters at the top of the screen and it goes back to bootloader. I put the battery back in and it reloads the 06/03 release. Am I really this big of a noob?

I just use a radio, splash screen is fine too... I use the new Cell South one right now, from here.
