i did have the blue taskbar working for a long time with no issues. it could be something cooked in, but no guarantees

downloaded 6.5.x taskbar, then the cdma fix, then the BT fix (because BT didn't change first time).
then downloaded the theme (how come he has multiple choices up top, but only 1 download under the themes?). he says there are 7 tsk's to choose from but I don't get any choices. i'm wondering if the taskbar is conflicting with my my built in one. also, the bt fix, killed the blue clock on the top right, made it just regular.

also tried installing a cab from the zip for blue glossy and it didn't do anything.

edit, got the theme to work, didn't realize I had to pick it under the settings for appearance.

now if only the taskbar would work. wonder if it is possible to ext the cabs to make it in the kitchen???

so I'm playing around with the themes from this guy:

if i dig into his cab for the themes, copy the .tsk file over plus all the pics, edit the manilla.txt to use it instead of flamerise.tsk, will it work, or am I way over my head here?

ok, tried another taskbar and it didn't work properly either. what in the kitchen could be messing with these taskbar cabs?

could it be the tsowens taskbar selection I have made in cooking? like make them all false then add the cab to my xda_uc should work right? or maybe could add it as a choice in the kitchen?

ok...

I've used tacchan's taskbar's before...and there is actually 2 cabs you have to install to device.

the taskbar (GSM) cab and the cdma fix cab.

if you want the colored background for the digi clock in the taskbar...you'll have to install a third cab.

i've tried the taskbar while i was using the 28232 build back when Calk's R3 kitchen was fresh and had NO issues.

i installed both cabs, part of my taskbar changed, part didn't. do you know which icons-taskbar you have selected under your ext's if any? I think something with that is messing with me installing one.

I just grabbed those files needed from welropes 23118 and will try that out. hopefully it'll work.

And since we are on the subject of taskbars... Im trying to make this taskbar a EXT, but I cant get the battery icon to work correctly. Can anyone help out?

I always left the taskbar default to tsowens' taskbar in the kitchen. I don't think that's the culprit for what you're going thru. I have had NO PROBLEMS installing the taskbar.

think that is already an EXT in Steveo's Calkulin Kitchen.

yes mine works w/28223 and manilaa 1225 and 1324. >>btw i was bamboozled on the 977radio not working. always worked for me. UPDATE..There is a new .cab from their website and u need to download GSPlayer. I am listening to comedy radio again as I type. always a relief. "i'd rather work on my phone than to use it"
