When you start having issues like this, the following procedure may fix the problem. Generally speaking, you can flash custom ROM after custom ROM without ever going back to stock. However, after some time, there are bits of the flash memory that may be retained and the only way to clear this out is to flash to a signed ROM (stock) and back to custom ROM. Also, making sure you have the latest hardSPl installed. So, try this:

  1. Check to see if you have the latest hardSPL installed by reviewing this thread and update accordingly.
  2. Clear Storage
  3. Flash back to stock
  4. Clear Storage (You can do it twice if you really want to be thorough.)
  5. Flash Custom ROM
  6. Clear Storage
  7. Provision
Some may say this is a bit excessive or that you can eliminate a step or two I listed, but if you are going to start the process, might as well be thorough.

hey guys i been using the rom for bout 2 weeks already n i havent found any bugs ..but the rom seems to be running a lil bit slow after installing some cabs =( ..oh yea n the clock freezes n sometimes it wont ..change n when it changes it just flips like if its crazy ..
I've got a ton of apps on mine and I can't seem to get it to slow down. The clock does sometimes seem to play catchup and flip a few minutes at a time, but only when initially woken up, it doesn't appear to do it randomly. Have you tried clean ram or memmaid? Maybe something got stuck running that's not showing up in the taskmanager. There haven't been really any complaints that I know of, of people saying it's slowing down. Take a look at D/\sh's video about loading it up and not slowing it down.
oh n i do use clean ram..n i will watch the video

thanks

Here is my experience so far :
I had MightyROM installed and all I did was flash MR.X and Provision . That is all. I did not even do a clear storage once it was done installing. EVERYTHING WORKS AMAZING. never did it crash or hung or even slow down !! I dont believe you have to work so long and hard to get it runnig right. doing all the flashing back and forth and back and forth makes no sense.
THIS IS THE BEST ROM OUT THERE WHEN IT COMES TO SPEED AND STABILITY AND THE GRAPHICS ARE AWESOME TOO
Somehow the memory is managed so good that it does not leak.
Great Job and I am here to stay =D>

THANKS TO ALL THE GREAT PEOPLE WHO WORK SO HARD TO GIVE US THIS AMAZING ROM !

I'm currently on the dusk theme which is shown on post 1176 and the instructions on how to get that are one this post: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...postcount=1189. There are some other theme clocks in the thread and most of them will play nice with Santods quick links (which are in his thread in the themes section) as long as there is not a clock array (meaning you can have analog, digital or both clocks showing). Let me know if this helps or if you need more assistance. You should still be able to use animated weather also, and most times you would just need to install the clock cab and the quicklinks cab, but not always.

Edit: I just went back again and looked, if you use the R6 cab that Darren posted it will give you 16 quick links and the osrix cab will give you a nice looking digital clock, you can also make mods to clean up your screen by removing the calendar background, clock background, etc, but the dusk theme, the first cab I believe, will not play nice with the R6 cab and will cause problems on your screen, unless Darren changed the name on the fix that Santod made. If you want the dusk theme like I have, follow the instructions I noted above as I know that works.
I installed your cabs and it works great. Nice looking plus has several clock options. Now if i could just get the background on post 1192 with a Viper instead of a Corvette everything would be A OK. Thanks again for your help.
Edit: The only thing I can not get to work is the battery icon. I tried the 7 bar one but it did nothing. the one that came with the rom has not worked for me. It shows no bars inside the battery icon.

Cellguy did not say you had to to get it running...I did not have to either...and I am sure many others did not...but when you start having some of the crazy issues like the OP was experiencing...the process that was typed out by Cell is exactly what you want to do...

Maybe you should reread what I said. This is necessary ONLY when everything else fails. Issues can arise when you flash often and don't completely clear out the flash memory every now and then. No offense, but know what you are talking about before interjecting please. Also, the fact that you don't do a clear storage after flashing is only setting yourself up for trouble down the road. Just because it works fine skipping that step once, means nothing when it comes to future flashes. Do yourself a favor and start getting in the habit of better flashing procedures before things go wrong.

EDIT: Thanks flyers...you beat me to it.
