i flashed this great rom yesterday and its already hard reset twice after it locked up and i did a soft reset. anyone experience this? also can i please find out how to disable the vibration when the screen is touched. thanks

been running since 3-27 and have had zero lockups at all..vibration-- all settings--system--touch response settings icon...

I'm going to take a wild guess and assume you flashed the beta from post #905. If you flash the rom from the first post you should find it pretty stable. I've been using TimberWolf roms for a while and haven't had issues with stability (except for some file explorer lockups which seem to be resolved). Even jstine said the betas were causing him issues (that's why he removed the link).

If you flashed from the first post already, then I haven't a clue

Hey Jstine - I've been running your rom (not the beta) for a few days now and I still love it. It is the best of all I have tried (including several from the "big name" developers). The only glitch was the ArkSwitch which was fixed with the cab you posted. Thank you soooo much for a great ROM!!! Keep up the great work!

Attached is the provisioning cab for verizon I've been working on. I take no credit since the work was done by tjELITE(?), Calk, and Mighty Mike. I've only modified it to put it into one cab (probably poorly but it works). After installing the cab verizon users will have phone, sms, mms, verizon provisioning, and the favorites key programming (via settings>personal>buttons).

To all verizon users, this is not a quick install. My testing shows the time varies between 4 to 5 minutes.

As you already know 23551 beta was removed from downloading. The worse rom I ever did!
Working with 23554 build and everthing is very stable, fast and will be worth the update. Included in the next release are the OEM updates and Internet Tab is now working for Opera 10 Final. If all goes well tonight I might get it posted after midnight or tomorrow.

23551 was removed since the rom was my worse

OK, I think I figured out what was going on the v4 verizon provisioning. I tried linearburn's GearHead rom (because he uses Calk's kitchen and I figure Calk's verizon cab) and came up with the following (posted in his thread as well).

First the end key (used to turn off verizon phones) vibrates and the sound mode is set to vibrate. On a second press the phone vibrates for a short time and the sound mode is reset to "sound on".
Second, the top button that is used to turn off the screen on a verizon phone, activates shutxp when pressed for a long period.

It's just a matter of us verizon users understanding the buttons. However, mms doesn't work out of the box (you still need to provison it using tjELITE...)

And in case there is confusion, the cab I posted uses the verizon cab from v3.2 (TW) not v4 so the end key activates shutxp.

RE: 23542 Brilliant!! I have tried many including the stock 6.5 and I am very impressed at the art theme (Wolf) and speed. This is the only rom where I didn't change a thing, it's very well done. Quick story. About 10 years ago I was on business in the UPPER Peninsula in Michagan, 25 miles into the forest and came literly face to face with a wolf. Bright yellow eyes just stared at me for about 2 seconds and as ever hair on my body came to attention he turned and walked away into the forest. He must have just had dinner. Thank you Jaxon.
