man if u get sense 2.1 to load on stock rom via cab that would be a game changing event right there not to mention 2.5 that would mean no unlocking for the people scared to flash you would be the man!!!

The CAB is just about ready! There is one drawback: this takes a good half hour to install. But the good thing about having Sense 2.1/2.5 in CAB form is that you can replace any of the manila files with tweaked ones and since none of them are in ROM, you won't lose any memory doing it.

Keep in mind that this is a beta, SO with that in mind, when I tweak it more, it will install faster, run faster, and be smaller. :)

It was built to run with the upcoming ROM but should run OK on the 1-7-10 build. I would recommend deleting the TF3D keys from HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCGSENSOR\Whitelist and ModuleName, or turning landscape won't work properly with Sense 2.5.

Upcoming ROM will have all these fixes included.

The cert error is due to HTC Album not being installed, you've gotta install a version of HTC Album, located here. What happens when you try and customize tabs?

is there something i need to install? when installing opera mobile 10 beta 2, i keep on getting 'Opera10-armv4i' is not a valid Pocket PC application. Tried to reinstall..still same problem..happens after a few soft resets.

Are you sure you are using the right cab version for Windows Mobile? I don't have any problem installing Opera: Opera_Mobile_10_WM_beta_2u.cab

i used from opera site itself it works for awhile. then seems after reset, it gets the error. install it on microsd card. included cab i used.

So far so good. The ROM let's me do the 'basic' things very quickly which is what I was shooting for. Will play more and keep you posted with any findings. Any chance you know of any good Today screen plugins that don't sacrifice speed? I used to love HTC Home but don't think there is a WVGA version floating around.

SPB Mobile Shell is pretty popular, as is PointUI. You can always try the HTC Sense 2.1 CABs too.

I would say it's either a bad flash with stuff left over from another ROM, or.....just a bad flash in general....i've never gotten that before.

have you tried to install Opera to your main memory and see if it still works after a while? It could be getting corrupt on your Memory Card. You should try and use chkdsk on it and scan for errors or bad sectors.

Love the look of this ROM (hate Wm6.5). I use my Sprint TP2 in London as a GSM phone. Does it have the GSM Network config tool built in or is there a CAB for it?

It doesn't but not to worry I found a specific CAb for my Carrier (vodafone).

Freeza I love this ROM. It does everything I want. It's 6.1 & I've installed Sense 2.1 plus most of the OEM CABS. I've themed it to be Blue not green throughout and I run at about 50% memory instead of about 65-70% on the stock ROM. Now I have the best of both worlds 6.1 + Sense 2.1. LOVE IT!

My background CABS that I made using HDWall for Manila 2.1 work prefectly too...

For 6.1, do you know what you have modified in your 6.1 ROM that it gives a DRM error reading eaudiobooks? The stock rom does not give me a drm error message.

OK, only one thing I can't figure. The stock ROM will allow finger scrolling of emails and this ROM doesn't. Must be a Reg Setting somewhere but I can't find it.

Any ideas?

DRM error huh? I will backtrack and see what edits i've made that would be a culprit.

I've been trying to find that edit too. I can't for the life of me, BUT I will. it's only a matter of time.

EDIT: Just figured the swipe-to-next-message out. It was due to not including TouchFlo3D (not Manila or Sense but biotouch.dll, etc) in. Trying to CAB it up right now but keep getting "installation unsuccessful" because of ONE dll.

freeza after a full days use I'm pretty impressed by the speed. Very awesome. Quick feedback...
1.) I have that issue where if I go into my text messages and then click on the person who has an unread message, it doesn't always mark them all is read (particularly if there is more than one message from that person).
2.) Also I'm not sure if this is by choice but if I compose a new txt message and start typing the letters of someones name, only one possible choice comes up on the bottom, I like it better when multiple suggestions are made at a time.
3.) I am on Sprint. I installed the freeza arcsoft cab. I open up my camera. I take a picture. I then tell it I want to send it (click the envelope icon). It says the pic is too big do you want to resize? I click Yes and it just sits on that screen. I can get out of it by hitting the 'end' hard key.

Okay let's get a bit deeper:
1. I'm assuming the issue you are having is with threaded text messages, correct? I think I remember this issue being in the Stock ROM as well, if you are in a threaded conversation and you don't actually click the message that was read, it won't mark it as read. Scrolling up and down in the message with the arrow keys resolves this. However, I will look into a more permanent solution.
2. Am looking into this one.
3. This seems like a pretty serious issue. I will hopefully resolve this one as well.

Fixed the arcsoft issue, sort of. If you go into MMS Options and change photo resolution from Original to something else like SVGA or VGA then it will work fine. Looking into other options though :)
