Hmm, 4? There should be upwards of like 10+ different alerts & sounds to choose from if you're setting tones for anything other than an Incoming Call. At any rate i'm uploading beta 2 now. If this doesn't solve it, I will figure out what's going on and get it sorted out for you.

Ringtones: 4 for ringtones,and probably 10 for all the other notifications. It's ok, I'll wait for your update, flash original sprint, clear storage, and flash your new one- seems to be ongoing wierdness lately regarding flashing leftovers. In any case, I commend you for what you've done- If I can find all the cabs for what I want- you've put together exactly what I wanted. Your rom and TouchOne is a winner.

without manila...i have spb mobile running, spb mobile scrolling is pretty smooth...but wen im using programs thats not controlled by the spb shell, like a youtube or just windows album and such, smooth scrollin is a negative...damnnit u dropped a new rom, hahaha should i get it or wait for 6.5...........

I'm working on CABbing Sense 2.5 up to installl on top of the Bare ROM, stay tuned, not much longer!

lol, it's just a newer build of 6.1. Nothing that different. I'm guessing it either has something to do with TouchFlo3D not being included, or the menu enhancement, which uses HTC Scroll v1, but having Manila not included makes scrolling trippy. I will get back to you on that one.

I see that the development has come along very nicely on the TP2 since I last checked. I just dont want to see the TP1 get forgotten....after all they are very similar devices with the same hardware! Thanks for the thoughts.

i dont knoe wat i installed to make dis happen but youtube n my volume r causing alot of problems....i thought it was htc audiobooster but i uninstalled that alredy, i dont noe wat it is

it mostly freezes, but wen i stream youtube it has nps...its just on the youtube app...it jus started happening out of nowhere but ik gonna flash to new rom so hopefully issues will be resolved

Any ETA on a 6.5 one?? I'm really waiting for this to come i just couldnt stay with the standard 6.1 interface that long. The build doesnt matter that much just about all of them are really stable, try 21887 for 6.5 and I would really love if you made a 6.5.x super bare ROM as its pretty stable for daily use i'm having no issues on it right now at all. Try build 28014 for 6.5.3

Great idea for a ROM, give folk a barebones windows mobile and all the cabs they need for all they want from the stock stuff. Can't wait to see some 6.5 dev. I got 6.5 stock with US Cellular, so I'm quite hesitant to go to 6.1, but it's been on my mind to try.

Also after reading this thread,, gotta give props/congrats/BIG pat on the back to Freeza for some HELLA good work and support for his ROM.

nobody else having youtube problems? arghhh its driving me nutts, its the volume now, im on the new rom btw, wen i click on a video theres no volume, and then eventually it will freeze...pleae help

That info is how the phone was handed to me by US Cellular. I checked on the info for the ROM that is in the OEM factory ROM sticky here in the TP2 section of PPCG, it is the same ROM. So ya can easily nab a known good USCC ROM from there.

If there is any other way I can assist, please feel free to shout.

is there a menu enhancement cab (when you hold down for the "right click" to edit or delete menu context) or is it something in the next rom build?

also got one of the corrupt ringtone error that someone mention earlier. did a hard reset, didn't show back yet.

also opera mobile 10, kept on getting opera.exe error..forgot the exact error, but had to reinstall it everytime. not sure if it's opera cab, or rom.

I have a small bug to report- my LED flashes with every alert even when I set it not to.

BTW I'm dying for that 2.5 cab :D

Hi guys. Power Supply on my computer blew out. So now I have to order a new one and wait a few days for it to arrive. Should be back in business by Wednesday and will have another beta up with a slew of new fixes and packages.

Back in business! Planning on having a new ROM up later on today or tomorrow with new packages and fixes.

Will be updating OEMCABs, and making Sense 2.5 CAB too. :)

I'm going to try and have a CAB of Sense 2.5 up before the week is over. Also, i'm going to try and do some WM 6.5 testing next week. I only have one phone and no land line, so bare with me. I have to try and do all this at a time where nobody will try and call me lol.

Since T-Mobile's 6.5 ROM leaked, i'm gathering build information. So far. US Cellular and T-Mobile use different builds of 6.5, but T-Mobile's is newer.

In other news, i'm porting Sense 2.1.1921.3017.1 over now, and it's newer than the current Sense 2.1.1920.3317.0 so it should hopefully perform even better! :-D

EDIT: It doesn't look as though PushInternet is even in this version. YES!

can you tell me what cab i need for the htc context menu. the one included in the rom seems sluggish. also i cant get quick gps to work. says cannot be opened because not signed, or one component cannot be found.

It is sluggish unless Manila is installed. :-p

and let me get on that signed issue. I thought I solved that but I guess not. It only seems to happen if a number of HTC components aren't installed.

Help. Sense 2.1 is not working.
I'm using Verizon stock Rom and just downloaded and installed Sense 2.1.
It took a while but DID start without a problem.
But it couldn't figure out my location no matter what I did and the home tab could not display the weather based on my location.
I tried the settings tab to see if there was anything I could do, but got an "The file AGPSsettings cannot be opened...".

So I tried to set the home tab weather based on a fixed city, rather than my location. As soon as I changed the local city, Sense 2.1 seemed to fall into an endless loop and never came back.
What I see now is the HTC splash logo on the screen, but Sense 2.1 never starts.
Now I have HTC Sense checkbox ticked off from Today setting, but when I have the checkbox checked, the same thing happens again: just the HTC splash logo without anything actually starting.

What should I do?
I'd really love to use Sense 2.1, but does it only work with your bare bone ROM? Can I make it work on my Verizon stock ROM?

That's very interesting........ There are a few services related to Sense 2.1, I wonder if I can make them work on your Stock...I'll cab up what's needed to make it work and get back to you :-p

haven't tweaked anything at all...

Also, for anyone interested (Stock ROM), it was brought to my attention by New Daddy That Sense 2.1 is installable to some degree on a Stock ROM, which leads me to believe that with the right services, it and 2.5 can be done. However, with Verizon's recent 6.5 Leak, I don't know how that would matter. But, if 2.1 is installable on a Stock ROM then 2.5 should be too.

What does this mean?
With the right tweaks and included services, you could have a fully functional Sense 2.5 working on a Stock 6.1/6.5 ROM.

Also, check out the second post for the newest fixes to the upcoming ROM.
