Hey deck, is there any way to put in your owner info, I'm running r2 (which is running great) but I cant activate some programs because I cant enter my owner info??

wonder why they would of taken that option out of settings. anyways heres the reg you should add:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Owner]
"Name"="deck"

ok, in r3, it will have the owner options back in settings.

please use the above ref'd registry for now.

sorry deck, where do I add the reg edit, I am not that comfortable entering new code in the registry but I know how to look at it =-)

This CAB will give you the Owner info back. Just install and soft reset.

In Contacts there is a contact card called "Me". Filling in the data there will set the Owner Info.

Hmm, that sucks.
I had the same problem with an app not wanting to install, and just filling in that contact card did the trick.
Sorry.

BTW - look for dotFred Regeditor (or Total Commander) in the program list.
Either can edit the registry.

Edit: I just tried it out, and changing the values on the "Me" contact card changes the values in that RegKey.
If filling in that card didnt help you, you may have other problems.

Is there anyway to get groovefish and PIE to work?
Also how do I view all my programs? when I touch start not all my program are there

i am not too sure on what groovefish is. pie works flawless over here, so im not sure if groovefish is an addon to pie? thanks.
