Re: <> 02-02-2010 <> Medium Hill ROM's <> Sense 2.5/Titanium <> SYS 21890-23519

Ok, here is the ROM i was running today, but it is Sprint only as it was a closed test for myself really just to test it. It's uploading now to a new directory (23529) in the ROMs folder. MMS settings are already in there. It has a new facebook app, and a couple other new apps as well.

Re: <> 02-02-2010 <> Medium Hill ROM's <> Sense 2.5/Titanium <> SYS 21890-23519

This ROM is way better than the 24001 ROM. Everything is working even MMS with your setting you had in it for Sprint. I did a sync with exchange and everthing is good there. Weather animation seems nice and smooth and the tabs scroll really fast.

The only thing that is not working so far are the 2 links in the Sense UI for active sync and location settings that you already know about.

I will test more of the app tomorrow.

Once you fix the 2 links I think this will be my rom of choice.

One nice thing would be to find a working color top taskbar and a transparent flip clock that can be installed. I will start looking around.

Thanks Dibbs this is going to be a great ROM!!

downloading test now. Dibbson I would not sweat the missing location manila setting you can always access the feature from start/settings/system, etc. On the activesync i havent seen that issues is that the menu under data services? If so it didnt work on 2-2 Sense rom either and I didnt even notice. Very small issues would let these trump a rom release.

Where did you find the location setting for what can use the gps for locations? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

The active sync I did find that so yes it is not a big deal.

Yeah I looked for that setting but can't find it there. Oh well it is working I have noticed in some ROM's that feature is diabled and you have to go into there to turn it on.

All location and gps stuff is on by default. Although if you use Google maps, you'll need to turn GPS on in the options menu.

On a Side note. I've been running this new 23529 for almost 36 hours now with 1 hour push email, 1 hour weather updates, skyfire internet usage, Opera a couple times, about an hour worth of talk time, sms's, a few youtube vids (fast download quality) and it's sitting at 60% battery right now. So battery life is pretty darn good on this IMO.
