Mine's OK. I don't know how to check for hardware level failure, I wonder if anyone knows how to do some diagnostics on here or if it's up to Sprint techs who can help...

...does it just happen in specific programs? Have you tried it in Teeter for example, and tried to recalibrate it in settings?

More often than not, (my experience) this is due to stuff auto-running and updating that you're not aware of. After a ROM reload many settings change back to default. Top of my head, here are some programs to check: weather, RSS Feeds, Handmark (?), QuickGPS, email...you should go through the whole list of all programs on the phone basically (because many are possible) and make sure nothing's running automatically that you don't want to.

Also, the default setting under Task Manager doesn't close programs unless you tap & hold the X, so open programs you thought you closed may be eating power - change this to just tap by going to Settings-System Tab/Task Manager/Button Tab and making sure it's set up to Enable X button + End programs by TAPPING X.

yeah I tried sprint tv, opera and the htc photo album and they all just flip back and forth between vertical and horizontal now... teeter, the ball just goes one way every time now lol. I tried recalibrating same result.. the vertical leveler is fine but the horizontal leveler shows the bubble all the way to one side even tho its on a flat surface... even after calibrating. This wasn't a issue prier to the update Guess I should just take it to sprint ( they are going to be like we didn't release any update lmao and im going to be like.. I got it from htc.com cuz u know how they never seem to know the latest info... and I can understand... its not like its their job to know or anything :P sorry.. I know.. I didn't have to go there.. I just know how some employees are in my area... :/

Good luck, and don't let them weasel out of supporting you. This is an official ROM update, so they have no excuse. Might want to carefully remove anything too blatant/radios/etc. before bringing it in though.

I disagree with this "get used to it" thing.

This alone made me switch to flexmail. This was NOT broken functionality. They changed it because they did. It made mail LESS easy to use.

Sorry to hear about your trouble man, to each his own.....I used flexmail in several occasion and always deleted it. Hopefully it will work for ya. Could it be they nixed that functionality coz it was interfering with the new adds-on! gotta look beyond the fact, there had to be something....I may be wrong but i doubt it,.... that is actually a book that Charles Barkley wrote...lol

Wait, you're claiming that something that was NOT broken in 6.1, worked perfectly fine, no issues whatsoever, was part of the core product, would interfere with a non-issued new Outlook with "add-ons"?

That just makes no sense.

am not sure I understand exactly what u said. Could it be, just could it be, I am not sure that maybe adding several professional pages, more customization....was done at the expense of losing the finger multiselection of emails,texts...I dunno man. I am just giving th benefit of the doubt. That feature isnt broken now, it is just different and most people arent ok with change man...I am . I am all for change for the better I know spb people arent stupid either.
