Try clicking the "do not turn off screen" option. I think this might allow you to manually hit the power button to shut off the screen without waiting.

I just got my replacement Touch Pro (refurb) and came with this rom flashed stock on it, with radio 1.12.34F. It looks like Sprint has already recieved and tested this rom and is now releasing it in the wild. This rom is also available officially on Sprint's Touch Pro download site, and it links to the rom available on HTC's website.

Yea looks like a release to the wild. Sprint must have been testing this for a while. My phone (refurb) reads the same as bluedeer's.
Rom is dated 07/27/09 with radio 1.12.34F.

My newest refurb came with it too, but oddly enough still had the old PRI. So I had to flash the new one. Unlocking worked fine at least.

Updated to this ROM, and have two very annoying bugs that I can't seem to shake:

1) The Answer/ignore slider on an incoming call doesn't work properly when the phone is locked. I slide it to answer, nothing happens. I press the talk key, nothing happens. Eventually the call goes to voicemail and I have to unlock the phone, go to call history, and call the person back. Very annoying, and haven't been able to find any support for it elsewhere.

2) The battery icon no longer appears in the title bar. Set this option with diamondtweak, but to no avail. Makes it tough to check how much batter is left when you have to navigate 3 menus down for a status. I saw one other person with this problem in the history. Anyone find a solution?

I will say as well that my battery life seems to be pretty bad. Last week I was fully charged at 8am, and after walking around in a building with bad reception I was dead by 12pm. Overall my biggest complaint about this phone has been the horrid battery life it gets. I've implemented every hack I can find but it still bites.

However, if I can't get 1) working, I will likely have to flash back to the original ROM. A phone that won't answer when it's called isn't worth much in my book. Anyone else have issues with the slider?

My slider is working fine, which is good since that's the reason I decided to upgrade. Even though it killed AudiblePlayer from continuing to play thru headphones when powered off, it was a fair tradeoff. I couldn't stand the accidental answer/ignore crap, and now it's actually usable as a phone.

you answered #1 with #2. if your are on a cdma carrier it is not recommended to use Advanced Config or Diamond Tweak.

as for your other misc issues, I would suggest flashing again via activesync (not sd or manual bootloader), let customizations run, then hard-reset.
also run my CM Killer before any other tweaks.

Thanks for the help. A new flash of the ROM without installing DiamondTweak seems to have fixed the call answer and battery icon problems. Given that I have a CDMA carrier, is there a list of tweaks that I CAN do (via registry changes) that might help battery life or allow for customizations in TouchFlo? One big one is that I'd like to change the right soft key on the "today" screen to "Calendar" rather than "Programs."
