TP isn't getting any 6.5 officially , however you can hook it up with a custom one...

The Opera task manager issue is really annoying. My optimistic side is willing to put up with it until a Sprint WM 6.5 ROM is released, but my realistic side is afraid of putting up with this for another year until I decide I got my $300 worth out of the TP. At least the ROM update runs much better. I actually found it because I was so fed up with the degraded performance of the TP and decided it was time to wipe the whole thing. Very good find!

I find it tough to believe no one's figured out a fix for the Opera task manager "bug"/"feature" - did I miss it?

Uhh,,, trying to download this update, but the link gives me an error. Does anyone know where I can get this? I need to flash back to stock for warranty purposes.... running Baseline ROM now, and like it quite well...

I have the rom downloaded if you need it. I'll up it somewhere for you.

In the meantime, I checked the HTC site too. Whoa. The Sprint Touch Pro isn't even listed under the support models now!

It sure doesn't make me feel very good about it. I just brought one of my TPs to the local corp store today for a minor fix. The Home and Call buttons were threatening to come off the phone. They took care of that for me fairly quickly. Was halfway hoping they would be lazy and just replace it. Heh!

But the noticible disappearance of the Sprint TP from that list of other carrier's TPs is a little worrying. I was hoping for one more updated ROM out of them since I really like this handset.

edit - Ah, nuts. Chat is closed for the weekend. Was hoping to get an explanation for the update rom being pulled.

Sprint still has the kink for it on their site... sucks cuz I was gonna try and d/l it but since it's gone I cant... *sighs*
