I read this entire thread, and no one mentioned one cool thing that is now fixed: how Opera used to popup the onscreen keyboard in text fields, even with when the real hardware keyboard was open. Now, the on-screen keyboard only pops up when the phone is closed. For me, that was a huge pain, and I'm thrilled.
Overall, I'm happy with the upgrade, and haven't had any problems. The fix for announcing callers over BT is big, too.

gald you happy man. The reasom why I didnt mentionned coz it wasnt a problem then. There was a reg edit that took care of that annoying pop. nomsayin

I see. I gave up on the problem a while ago, didn't realize someone fixed it. This is a company phone for me (which I'm sure it is for many), and so Stock updates are important.

HOLY CRAP. This new ROM is much faster and much more stable than any of the custom ROM's I've seen out there. Great improvement over the stock ROM too. I'm keeping this, since all the custom ROM options are slow 6.5 versions anyway that are too buggy and freeze up all the time.

I have a question about this. I have noticed that the email functionality has change a bit for the selection of messages. You cannot highlight them from the screen. You have to press the "Select Messages" and select "All, Several, or Select Below". Can this be changed back to the old version? This is the same for the text messaging. I have to keep going back and using the clicker to move over the messages so it changes from bold to regular so that it doesnt record as it being unread, can this be changed?

Anyone found a fix yet for the problem with Opera not showing up as a running app? I love this ROM so far except for that one issue, and it's annoying as heck not being able to switch back to it easily when it's minimised.

Having run several custom 6.5 ROMs, I decided to give this official update a try. This ROM is extremely fast and the battery life is really good as well. 12 hours after the phone is unplugged from charging, I'm still at 80%. This is with minimal usage during the day, maybe listening to a voicemail or two and < 5 minutes of web browsing.

I have experienced a pause here or there, but it's not a regular occurence and IMHO worth putting up with.

All grammar aside the battery life is WAY better than I expected. With normal/light usage, stock rom is pushing 36 hours at 20% now, significantly better than my own rom. If it was Rhodium it would give most of the chefs on here a run for their money, Sprint did something right for sure =D>
