Why is your kitchen not as user friendly as Calkulin's?

Re: [Always Updating][KITCHEN]6.5 NK-23509/28004-TF2.1/2.5 & Titanium [UC/Sashimi]

calkulin's uses a visual kitchen. basically a wrapper that calls all the other programs needed to cook a ROM. This kitchen is just about as easy to use, it just doesn't have a quick method for selecting what packages to include/exclude. But, if you're mostly cooking for yourself your package list won't change much so once you have it set up, its easy. I briefly considered writing a quick VB app for it but I'm feeling rather unmotivated lately.

Not to mention, I assume he built this kitchen for himself to use and just shared it out of kindness. I for one am glad he did. Aside from a few issues this is one of my favorite roms that I built using it. Seems like everyone else has jumped ship to the TP2.

lol it is, you just add package in the same way as the visual kitchen, you just cannot change what packages are included on the fly

yes this was for myself, and started to upload it nightly just to keep backups in case tragedy befell my kitchen/computer. I decided to share it with all to show people there are alternatives to the visual kitchen, I now feel my kitchen is much more universal than any visual kitchen

xip is what is responsible to booting your phone, it is the kernel of windows mobile. You will already be using my optimized XIP, you only need to use that function when a new xip is added from a third party (not me, all mine will be optimized from now on) so really just always hit n for that question. I am thinking of taking it out of the main kitchen script and making a script that just prepares new builds and inserts them into the kitchen. At that time all sys and xip optimizations can take place, making the actual cooking process faster.

The 12/14 Kitchen (last night's) has 28014 and it's working good. I've been running it all day

I made a 2.1 max-like tinted glass slider. If you're running 2.1 check it out...
