that is impressive. I would stay on 23509 then. neither one has any stability issues. then again, have any of my roms ever had stability issues? I am going to switch to 28004 on my main TP today as soon as I figure out a few more manila things.. (trying to make the dark background when you slide from tab to tab extend all the way to the bottom of the screen)

Re: [11-24][KITCHEN][ROM]6.5 NK-23509/28004-TF2.1/2.5 & Titanium [UC/Sashimi]

Is there a way for us to just get rid of it all together?

Re: [11-24][KITCHEN][ROM]6.5 NK-23509/28004-TF2.1/2.5 & Titanium [UC/Sashimi]

Any hints on using the new messaging on the 28004 ROM? I can't see what I'm typing on threaded messaging mode. On new messages if I type "John" it grabs the first John in my contacts. How do I select a different "John"?
After sending the message there is no easy way to exit. I have to do 2 "back's" to get to the home screen again.
The new texting only shows the last message from a person. If you get 2 or more it is hard to read them all while in reply mode.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Other than this minor hump I like this ROM a lot.

You may wish to disable the new messaging interface.. thanks to mdsevol for these cabs:

Disable HTC messenger:

Remove some other messaging stuff:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...4&d=1248288094

I was running the 23509 rom last night and I had no issues texting, it was certainly different, but we'll see how it goes.

Mr. Zero,
I will check out the first cab you listed. The second seems to be for picture mail. Not sure if I need to mess with that.

Thanks!

Edit: Ok, installing CAB #1 made it like the old system except there is no threaded messaging. It's like it went to far back.

no idea, sorry.

but I am a little excited because I think I found a way to extend the darkness all the way down the screen when sliding! I also found out how to remove the darkening altogether. removing the darkening was easy, figure out which manila file the darkness was (it is 6e11e533) and just edit it in gimp to be transparent. This is cool but not what I wanted. the internal name and path of that QTC is \window\htc\manila\assets\black.qtc

I looked in the mode9 files and found where it was set to (mode 9 is 3a8e04af) , sure enough, only show this file for 480x538. I edited that to 480x640 and its flashing now. If it works I'll post the cab. manila isnt so hard after all ...

edit: maybe it is, because it doesnt work lol
