I cooked another 2.5 ROM w/out the programs tab and of course it works fine now. The 16 quick link cab I posted earlier is still cooked in and that, so far, has not caused any issues for me. I think w/that installed I can do w/out a programs tab or a contacts tab as it's mostly useless anway.

In even more exciting news I finally got a cab for that clear slider I've been wanting. I know you can get it w/NRG's ROM and the Maxy whatever cab, but I didn't want NRG's ROM or all the other stuff that comes along w/Maxyy's cab. I only wanted the slider. I searched since yesterday morning and could not find a cab for just the slider and nothing else. Tonight Rootlinux cabbed it up for me!!! It's in the pic posted.

I think it looks great and obviously this cab works and will cook in fine. There is a tiny bit of overlap b/w the icon itself and the icon on the slider, but it's so minute it doesn't bother me at all. You can see what I mean.

Anyway, w/these two issues resolved I think I will give HTC Sense a long go of it and see if I officially like it or not. The only thing I still have to work on is getting a background4alltabs that actually works!

try out "TF3D 2.5.19182327.1 LucarP's transparent slider fix (cab and MaxTTM versions)" for the overlap issue....heres the link!

His Manila 2.5 version doesn't work...

Sharkie you can use HDWalls to do background on all tabs, it works better, doesnt lag manila at all and it looks a lot more clear.

I just found HDWalls that you're talking about. It looks awesome. Can't wait to get home to try it out. Thanks man! I'm assuming you've tried it and it works on the TP's version of 2.5?

JDM627, if you're still looking for the 16 quick links cab it's on page 149, post #1483 of this thread. As far as I know RZ has not put it in the kitchen. I haven't looked at last night's kitchen yet. I can only access 12 of the supposed 16 links. Still better than 6 or whatever the standard is.

Use package_creator to convert cab to oem, then drag the resulting oem onto ext_package_rebuilder

with manila 2.5 batt life is obviously not as good sa 2.1 or titanium but I still make it through the day.

I like the 16 quicklink thing, I'll add that tonight. Much better than the buggy programs tab although since we are VGA we only see the top 12.. still twice as much as 6
