Re: [JUL 11] *10 Radios Available* Updated Touch Pro CDMA Radio Archive Thread
Sweet, I've been hankering for some new radios to come out. I've been on telus forever & found that it's just not that great for me. I'm in Oklahoma where Alltel is pretty prevalent so I'm gonna try the leaked Alltel radio & see what it does to my battery life.

True, it's been less than a day, but so far in Los Angeles the newest Verizon radio has definitely improved performance for me.
While the ##DEBUG# numbers aren't dramatically better where I live, my test txt messages so far have been delayed by only 15 minutes at worst (not ideal, but a big improvement over half a day at worst!) and phone calls are coming through well. I'll stick with it and see if it's improved overall reliability over time. Sprint really screwed up their radio design for weak signal areas, methinks! Also the phone gets noticeably less hot, so I expect battery life will improve as well. Yay! Last edited by Nagual; 07-12-2009 at 06:01 PM. |

Live in the bay area, and was using the telus radio and I had great reception with juggalos old rom. however since upgrading to mightyrom6 the reception has declined. By my house I would get 2 or 3 bars but now I borderline on 1x coverage. So I will try these and let people know.
