Thanks for the Alltel Cooked ROM but I'm new to using Custom ROM's and would like to know how to begin as I must be cautious since the Alltel phone is my business phone and I must not "brick" it when I need it for work.

Any suggestions on learning to use custom ROM's and maybe edit them as I learn to use them.

Changes:

• Updated SYS and XIP to 23004
• Changed to OEM to the OEM from HTC's 6.1 update.

rom is running very nicely. Couple things i noticed:
Something odd is going on when the customizations run cause it takes 2 or 3 times longer then your last rom. At the end of customizations when it says "Reset Device", it just sits there for a few minutes. Then after that on first boot, it's in airplane mode. The sms sent notification is on. And one last thing, you have had in all your builds, is the SimTkUI program. I redownloaded and reflashed to confirm these things.

Just some observations for you.

The keyboard lag is definitely better then a lot of other roms too. Very nice job. Thanks for the rom.

The only time I've had my phone go into Airplane mode was if there was an issue with my user customization settings in my sdconfig.txt or one of the items it calls.

I did find an issue with notifications randomly not playing in this rom. I've made some changes and tested them on 21812, and they seem to fix the issue. I'm going to test them on 23004, and if the fix still works, I"ll post an updated rom tomorrow.

Im not familier with RUU files only exe like mighty rom. How do I install the rom? thanks
