NightRaven - Full Alltel WM6.5 - CE OS 5.2.23001 (Build 23001.5.0.60)
 

These 6.5 rom are for Alltel Only! It contains all of the original Alltel OEM, and I was able to get the original HTC dialer working correctly!




Version 1.15 WM6.5 CE OS 5.2.23004 (Build 23001.5.3.0)

Changes:

• • Updated SYS and XIP to 23004
  • Changed to OEM to the OEM from HTC's 6.1 update.
  • New call screen! See picture below.
  • Fixed ringtone loss issue.

Issues:

• Notifications randomly stop. I think this may be an issue with the audio power management settings.

Version 1.13 WM6.5 CE OS 5.2.23001 (Build 23001.5.0.60)

Changes:

• Re-added HTC fully qwerty and disabled MS recipient auto complete in messaging. This fixes the issue with the HTC auto complete and MS auto complete from interferring with each other, and causing the device to hang. This seems to be a much better solution then removing the HTC fully qwerty keyboard.

Version 1.12 WM6.5 CE OS 5.2.23001 (Build 23001.5.0.60)

Changes:

• Removed Tegic Enhanced T9. Tegic Enhanced T9 autocomplete was casing messaging to hang when entering a contact using the physical keyboard, requiring a soft reset to recover.

• I know I skipped version 1.10. It had an issue with user customization, so I did not post it.

Changes:

• Fixed touch lag issue by reducing MinimumTapTime from 48ms to 1ms.
• Fixed issue with .Net compact framework 3.5
• Removed WelcomeCenter (Getting Started), because it does not play well with .Net Compact Framework 3.5.
• Reduced PagePool from 32Mb to 16Mb. It's still ridiculously large!

I'm an Alltel user. This is great news so we have a fully compatable ROM, but I'd like to see some deeper info (screenshots, logs, etc) before installing as I'm happy using MR5 (if I want 6.5) or Murdin's 6.1 build.

i also think that this is cool that we alltel users can finally have something to ourselves but without screenshots or information, i might stick with mighty5. Is there any way you can add a description of what programs are in it?
