How To unlock and flash with Video Walk Through!

Hi, I have a sprint Htc touch pro that I'm trying to flash over to cricket. As far as I know its unlocked. Everytime I get ready to install the rom it goes to 0% on both the pc and phone then an error messages comes up. Any idea on what I may be doing wrong? Also the phone is brand new from sprint. I think I made the mistake of getting my number swiched over before the phone was flashed because now i'm phoneless. Can somebody please help me out.

you dont need to flash or unlock your phone to get it to work on cricket. but...as far as the problem you're having, did you follow these steps and confirm it's unlocked? http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503

My active synch dies after a week or so of my ownership. Tried all the fixes, but it seems my usb plug died. Been reading these threads all day and the net and haven't found direct answer:

Is there anyway to unlock the Sprint Touch Pro without a cable USB connection? Ie like transfering a file via bluetooth and running it off the storage card?

Thanks much! Worked like a champ! Had to reformat the microsd card even though it reported as Fat 32. Might want to add this suggestion to the instruction list on page 1. Also, transfering the RAPHIMG for flashing takes forever via bluetooth, but it works. And trying to do soft reset takes quite some agility!

I might also recommend including on page 1 a reference and links on how to unlock and flash without activesynch since it seems to be such a pervasive issue.

Are there any known causes that would maket he data backup program that is attached in the OP freeze on start up (the windows spinning logo never stops)

i have a problem!!!

Every "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" I try to use doesn't work. I click it and nothing happens. I've tried rebooting my windows 7 computer several times now! am I missing a step? the phone is synced to my computer before I try to open the utility
