yes...the 37 hspl is for your phone.
you can unlock from the sd card, as mentioned by pyro following this http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=61333.

but, try this first.
click start-settings-connections-usb to pc, then uncheck the box under Activesync. then give it another go. should work now.

I changed the settings you recommended me, and it didn't work the first time. It went to the tri color screen, but it errored out on the PC side again. I rebooted the phone and tried again, and it worked!!

I'm downloading mightyrom 6 as we speak, I can't wait to try it.

I am reading through this post and many others and have read the rules, and firstly can i say you guys ROCK!

it is soo informative and easy to read,

but just a question i have that was not answered/did not see a answer to.

is there a way to backup my original phone's shipped rom so that in case i need to reflash it back to normal it would not be a issue, and yes i did dl the one from the stock sprint roms post(the shipped version)

I am getting mine Wed/Thursday and can't wait to play around with it!

welcome to ppcgeeks!
You downloaded the shipped rom, so you already have the original rom that your phone came with. If anything goes wrong or you don't like any custom roms or whatever, you can just flash that shipped rom and you will be back to the original rom.

thanks for the quick answer, also another Q that i googled for a while and didnt get a clear answer to.

i am going to use mightyrom as my rom, but i see there are differenversions (MightyROM4_06.20.09_Victor.exe,MightyROM6_Victor. exe) and one is for winmo 6.1 and one is for 6.5

is there a update for the touch pro for 6.5 as i wanted to goto htc and didnt find anytghing and sprint.com/support doesnt work for me

So which mightyrom do i use and is there a winmo upgrade?

That is the newest mightyrom6 that is windows mobile 6.5

tf3d2 for the touch pro has been out for a long time.
spb mobile shell is completely different from tf3d2.

where do i find touchflo 3d2? I didnt see a link here/and googled.

Also i wanted to verify i have sprint insurance, when i get my TP and the keyboard craps out, it is not a insurance issue and i would not have to pay a deductible etc, would be covered under regular sprint policy correct?

tf3d2 was originally posted here back in Feb. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493531
But it had a few problems and was built into many custom roms with fixes since then.
tf3d2.1 is the latest that is being built into custom roms. available here
You can look at all the custom roms here and see all the ones that say "manila 2.1". that means tf3d2.1.
Keyboard crapping out is not an insurance claim and is covered for free under the 1 year warranty. But I have read that some people have a problem getting sprint to realize that.
