Ah, so just the files folder straight to \Windows? And I had no idea the numbered folders were for the configuration interface. Where do I copy the files from the 0409 folder? Also straight to \Windows?

EDIT: I checked every file in the PACK\files folder and the 0409 folder. None currently exist in my \Windows folder on my phone. But there are few enough that I could delete them manually, though I bet that registry key I posted will turn the whole thing off. Still wondering if I should chance it. Do I get greedy and have a slide to unlock?? That is the question...

I am curious - where are you using your phone such that privacy is a concern but phone theft is not? Or is that your exact concern: password protection is in case of theft? I've never had the patience to handle typing in something each time I turn on my phone.

Right into the /Windows folder. Yeah I didn't either...you try, reboot, and learn...

Well not really so much theft, but more from people messing with it (making calls, sending emails, deleting contacts) stuff like that. With Windows Mobile's lock screen, it's literally a swipe, and then 4-digits, and your at your home screen, email, txts, contacts...etc... It's actually quite nice. Simple, fast and effective...

How are you sending it? I can send it through compose message on the conversation view or through new message/reply on the traditional view screen inside sense.

I know it doesn't work there but it still works through other ways, just don't try sending it through there until there's a fix. But it does get saved as a draft, so if you send another text sometimes the one you wrote through the contact will actually get sent
