soft reset
install JD arcsoft
soft reset
enable sense

slide over to messages tab and click on sms... maila messaging loads; not arcsoft threaded.

I think this is how I used to do it and it worked.. any suggestions? Thanks!

A couple things. Do I copy all of the folders in the PACK folder to \Windows or just the contents of the "files" folder? I thought all of them, but then it said to do something special with a file in the "files" folder, suggesting that I should be concentrating in that folder. And finally, being pessimistic and I expect this not to work, what is the best way to undo everything? I can delete folders easily enough but how do I undo the registry settings? Or perhaps I could manually set the key

Does the security have to be locked on an Alltel phone in order to send picture messages? After unlocking my phone and upgrading to one of the latest 21885 Energy ROMS I am no longer able to send MMS messages. After checking all the MMS settings and installing various versions of Arcsoft I still wasn't able to send messages. I even installed my factory WM 6.1 and still had no luck. But after re-locking my phone I was able to send MMS messages again.

Is it even possible to re-lock a custom 6.5 ROM?

My volume buttons are acting as D-Pad buttons scrolling up and down in the rom EnergyROM_21885_HERMAN_25.Dec.2009_StandardM2.5.ra r

I can't control the Volume at all

Any fix or help ?

Since I did not back up the files I copied over, I had to hard reset to remove it. With Sashimi, it's not that big of a deal, and allows me to experiment a lot.

In terms of your first question, I copied over the files in Pack/files folder. Also, copy over the files in the 0409/files folder (for English) otherwise the Manila menu under Settings>>Personalize will be VERY difficult to read (IDS_MENU).

Right - that is a deal-breaker for me. It's nice that it shows off your home screen, but it's also too easy for anyone to access.
