this is a known issue, but i'm not sure ive seen it mentioned yet on 21877 standard manila (sense?) 2.1, so i'll throw it out there:

the dialer misalignment showed up for me this morning, after several days of normal use. i installed the 23504 fix, which seems to have fixed it, though its still a little unpredictable. it showed up misaligned for me once but has been working since.

Can you elaborate on your fix. This might help with my issues with 28005 because I'm about to reflash as it is really unusable otherwise.

i downloaded the "NRGZ28 23504 VGA Dialer Fix.cab" from the thread attachments list, ran it and soft reset. the first time i loaded up the dialer after the reset it was still misaligned (no idea why), but since then it's worked fine. good luck.

K just installed Nov 27 21877 standard w/ sense and i am having a couple issues.
before someone flames me for not searching i will tell you i did search and no avail to remedy my issues. They are minor but still would like to get a fix... alright enough rambling and here they are....

1. on the sense people tab, the favs that i set up show up fine but the blank ones to add a new fav are white and have no graphic. (if i restart sense the graphic will come back and show up like it was designed but as soon as i call someone from the list it reverts back to the white/no graphic)
2. My front panel HARD buttons do not work at all. I hit home it does nothing, i hit the phone it does nothing. This has been an issue since i started flashing and do not think it is rom related but wondering if you guys have seen and fixed this before.

Other than that the rom itself is amazing and really dig the looks. Great job NRG.
And if anyone could help with my issues that would be awesome. thanks

I'm sure someone mentioned it, but you can use the physical hardware keys to do what you want to do, in the event you find yourself in a situation with those two soft buttons missing.

While in a call, you can press the phone hardware key to bring up the dialer pad. ...and you can end a call with the "End" hardware key.

...even for things like scrolling to the bottom of lists that are cut off or selecting items when the "ok" button isn't accessible, you can use the hardware buttons. Center button is an "ok" button.

on my first touch pro the hardware buttons on the bottom stopped working after a couple months with the phone. sprint replaced it for me with no cost. i assume its on their list of problems with the TP. just fyi of my experience

That what i was hoping it would not be but at least i may have found the problem. BTW they kind of work on Mighty Rom 6(respond just don't do what they should, for instance home button opens the phone), intermittent on EmpiROM, and nothing on energy rom. Dont know if that is coincidence but that is what happens
