Re: |H|ROM|6.5.3|WWE| * EnergyROM 'Phoenix 2' (28005/21877) |Nov27| Sense 2.1 and 2.

love the ROM, best version yet so far, for me. been flashing nrg ROMs for quite a while now, and dig the nov 27th m2.5 version a lot.

here's my newest dumb questions for people.
a) facebook pics are linked to contacts, but when someone calls, the pic doesn't show up on the screen. how do i get that to work?
b) how can i get the aforementioned image to be full screen when they call?

I don't use facebook pic sync, so I am not sure if it should work with your incall ID. but if I remember correctly, that's one of the issues that is still being worked out. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this.
I know you can use S2U2 to get full screen contact ID to show on incoming calls, but S2U2 has been problematic with the BSOD or ... forgot the other acronyms on previous roms. I haven't tried S2U2 with these latest roms and I haven't seen anybody reporting it's an issue. So try it out.

Running 28005 with Sense 2.5
I see the same issue on the 21877 with Sense 2.5. (Just thought I would share.) It must be a Sense 2.5 issue.

My phone is hard-resetting pretty much whenever I use my stylus to soft-reset.

Did you see my post about the dialer a couple of posts ago? Might save you from a re-flash?
Yeah I saw that post. Slide 2 Answer isn't working now either. I've done a couple of soft resets. My phone is acting weird for sure....

Three other people will post this before I press "post", but to fix this:

Flash to a stock ROM, hard reset, flash a custom ROM, hard reset...you'll be fine.

Thanks for the reply, although I'm sure that you know what you're talking about better than I do, it is active.

There is no manilla.exe in g-config. Nothing on there seemed out of the ordinary (IE, opera, HTC Album), just the defaults.
I would not mind completely disabling the g-sensor. Even better would be the reg key so I could set up a toggle for it. It has been giving me problems the past week or so. I doubt it's the g-sensor itself because I play teeter all the time without issues.

I tried hard resetting, also tried reflashing.

Here's a pic, just so you know I'm not making this up.. pic was taking while phone was laying flat, screen side up on the table. it was jogging between this and standard layout.

So you're running S2U2? I'm not using that great program anymore but I know a lot of people have reported issues with it, are you on the latest version?

Re: |H|ROM|6.5.3|WWE| * EnergyROM 'Phoenix 2' (28005/21877) |Nov27| Sense 2.1 and 2.

i agree that s2u2 is a great program, but i've sort of let it go the way of the dodo. i've been flashing too often to want to spend a lot of time reconfiguring s2u2 each time, lol.

of course, i guess i could set up something like sashimi (i think i'm thinking of the right thing) that would allow for auto configs between ROM flashes, but...

okay, next dumb question. how can i set up messaging to auto delete everything that i am deleting? having to switch to a delete folder and then clear it is pretty freaking dumb to me. as far as i'm concerned, if i say 'delete', then hit 'ok' when it asks 'are you sure'?, i shouldn't have to go find it and then delete it again. i am not sure who's brainchild the 'deleted items' folder is, but i'm against it, lol

so...does anyone know where i can find the option to auto-clear that folder? on older builds, before sense hit the scene, i could just check a box and everything would be cleared automatically, but i have no idea where that option is now
