Which version are you using?

Because the screen is blank? If so hit the center of the Dpad to turn the screen back on. If you have the alignment issue and CANT hit the Keypad button hitting the hard Send button during a call will bring up the keypad.
I get the alignment issue occasionally. I go into TP Tweaks, select the WM dialer WITHOUT a soft reset, and the alignment is fixed. I then go back and re-select the default dialer.
Not sure about bringing the curtain back though.

Thanks in advance.
Yeah I've seen that before as well. I thought it was just hiccup. I recreated it once by hitting the hard phone key and then chose the little home hard key to get me back to the home screen and then chose the soft phone key on the homescreen and it was back to normal. I then tried hitting the hard phone key again and it hasn't ever replicated itself afterwards. sorry

This is all within Sense:
What I've always done is select the date FIRST from let's say the Month view or the Day view, then select New Appointment from that day and I'm golden.
If I go Menu/New Appointment then I do run into that issue.
Hope that helps.

Basically - the problems are random, but one thing is consistent. When the green logo appears, it always says 100%. Even if the phone only has 10% left, it still says 100% full. When the icon disappears, and is replaced by the default icon, it doesn't display the correct level either. For example, it's sitting at 2 bars of battery, yet throws a message out saying "Battery is critically low." Lo and behold, when I go into the Power applet of the Settings panel, it shows the correct battery level for the phone - just about dead.

Is that related to tBattery at all, and if it is, is there any way to get rid of it, or disable it? Probably not as it's cooked in... but just curious. I've used Nuebattery before on a stock build, and from using Psyki's final build, and it has worked great - but whatever is in this recent build, isn't working anymore for me. This is off of a fresh flash of 21877 btw, this behavior occurs immediately after the final customization.

And yeah, I did a search, may not have searched hard enough, but I couldn't find the answer right off-hand.. hoping someone might know something about this. I greatly appreciate everyone's help!
This is most likely caused by using a dcd carrier cab that has the battery and rA icons included (most likely the one from July 2009 or the newer one). If you are using that particular carrier cab for a reason you can install a custom taskbar to fix the battery meter.

Several of us Alltel users have found the carrier cab from 10/31/2008 to work the best. I have been using the carrier cab from 10/31/2008 for about 5 months now since it is the only one that seems to work with MMS. I believe this version does not include the battery icon so it should show the correct %. I always use a custom task bar though so I'm not 100% positive on that.

Did you try a different radio? Just a thought. sprint's mms server is very finicky so give those a try. And also under the mms settings, make sure you have the sprint server address as "http://mms.sprintpcs.com".

COULD be a network issue. It's not your phone hating you, messaging in general has been a real bear for some lately. There has been some progress over at xda on getting more stability. It's mainly Chef/cooking stuff but at least one user here has applied the changes manually and had success. Check drdrewdown's posts, he talks about the new messaging changes.
nrgz is aware of it so we may see some changes cooked in soon. This is pure speculation on my part.

It's been said, but since people are still wondering - "Manner Mode" as in "polite" or "not disturbing to others". When you set your phone to vibrate...it will say "manner mode enabled". ...the opposite when you enable sounds. The phone is just letting you know it won't be making noise.

While I haven't looked into it yet, I'm sure there's a reg edit to disable these new notifications.

Did a soft reset and things came back. Maybe just a fluke BC everything has been working great today.

David
I've been experiencing black screen freezes for the past couple of weeks using this ROM and another. First, this issue has happened in the past, even on the stock ROM, but when it did it was very random and infrequent.

On these newer ROMs something else is causing the lockup...because it happens often. When traveling [and not in a good service area] it seemed to happen more frequently, but I don't know if it's necessarily related to the issue.

I carry my phone in my pocket a lot, but noticed the most freezes when the phone is sitting on the table next to me. I soft reset multiple times over the long weekend while in NY...and the phone was on the coffee table the entire time.

I usually have the issue while the phone is left overnight. I have experimented with turning the screen on all night, shutting it off for the night, charging it, or leaving it unplugged...in every situation, I've experienced freezes.

My belief is that this is a problem with 2.5 that may get better with future ports, but that's just a guess.

It's NOT NRG specific. It's a noob assumption, but I've thought that it could be a processing thing [like our little devices just give up after being driven too hard]...but I have no solid evidence to support that.

...slide open your physical keyboard. This will turn the screen on. Press the power button on top of the device to turn the screen off...the buttons should go out too. Close the keyboard. This happened on Stock ROMs too.

Facebook does not sync with Winmo Contacts. It's a feature of Sense. I'm sure there's a way to use Outlook/Active Sync to back up the assigned pictures for your contacts in Sense and have them restore in Winmo...but I'm not sure. I know if I click on a contact in Outlook it shows their Facebook pic [from the last sync]...but I think it has to do with how you're backing up the info.

It either doesn't recognize the button press at all or thinks I'm trying to push left, down or home instead. It's got me just about ready to throw my phone out a very tall window...
Yea, in addition the button array is glued down...and not well. My refurb touch pro buttons are starting to "lift" a bit...eventualy the buttons become inoperable.

So...since the placement can be screwy, it's possible your "sweet spots" for "Home" "Back" "Left" and "Right" are slightly off or non-functional.

Re: |H|ROM|6.5.3|WWE| * EnergyROM 'Phoenix 2' (28005/21877) |Nov27| Sense 2.1 and 2.

Just did a quick search and didn't see this mentioned so here I go...I have noticed that sometimes when i turn on my phone and slide to a different tab in Sense such as weather the softkeys do not update to show the options for that tab. Usually hitting the home key and then going back to the previous tab gets the softkeys to update to whatever they should be for that tab (ex weather tab should show update now and menu but will show phone and menu instead).

Running 28005 with Sense 2.5
