Now when you go to send a new SMS, hit Menu/Add Recipient and your Contacts will come up.

AFAIK, "Manner Mode" is a feature that quiets the phone down for times like meetings or church, etc. I can get my phone into manner mode by holding the vol down button until the message pops up.

I think it just disables all the sounds.

Ok, after do some playing around with this task manager was finally able to get it to stay open while Opera was open. Still testing it out.

I'm getting 502 Bad Gateway errors this AM so I'm not sure about Three's link to xda.
However, afaik the zenyee HTC disabling cab listed in the threads attached files (link in my sig) works to knock out HTC Messaging, you could try that. I've used it in the past but not on the current version, if it doesnt work the cab should be easily removed.

IMO this ROM is screaming, dont know if any of the old regedit will do anything, here's some in case you are feeling experimental:

I cant stand how Activesync is constantly running in the background. I use the program below to kill it, but not remove it. You may occasionally still see it running in the task manager but the developer says that is normal, it isnt really doing anything. And if it is running the program should find it and stop it. Hope that helps.

Yes for me everything is working. Few little glitches here or there. IF you dig enough I'm sure you will find small problems. The messaging is key for me. I had to send a couple picture mails before I got the jest of the messaging app. but it threads pictures and text just perfect. Just send yourself a couple picture mails first it also said the first couple times that picture mail couldn't be sent but it still went.
