OK, running the 28005 27.Nov.2009 M2.5. NRG is really giving me a workout with all these new releases, but it's getting better all the time. Some questions:

I want to disable the sense SMS and use the old winmo version. I have tried the steps in THREEFACES' walk-through (specifically, THIS page), but there is one major problem: the registry key in step 2 is missing. "HKLM\system\inbox\externalaccounts" Nuh-uh. Not there. On this build or the last few I've tried. Wtf mate? What now?

Next, any good tricks to speed up the interface or has NRG pretty much optimized it already? I've seen reg edits to increase memory allocations for manila and file system caches and stuff? I don't use many programs, I'd gladly give up some memory to manilla or whatever. Also, what about this Performance.exe that is supposed to "overclock" the TP ?!? Does it work?

Last, any way to disable activesync? I don't use it and its taking up 620k memory.

yeah im downloading again now,think something on my compy went crazy cause i couldn't even delete it from the computer till i did a reboot,will let you know in a few,thanks friend

The Bad Boy AudioFix (Full volume) cab works with 2.5 and 2.1. Just hit up on the vol button and it's full blast, adjust as needed. I've been making and receiving calls for the last hour with no problem with ringers and in call volume.

ok has any vzw customer been able to flash either 2.1 or 2.5 21877 11-27-09 builds,i have tried from the computer and the sd card multiple times now,flash dance before each,have never had a problem before now,have now problem flashing to any previous builds as i have tried several,also oddly after flashing to either version of 21877 afterwards the rom folder is empty??? where n the heck are the files going?? i've done an extensive search on the computer to make sure they were not being moved anywhere but *POOF* after each extract and attempt to flash they just disappear.i'm clueless at this point,just got done downloading both versions of 28005 and gonna attempt my luck there

EDIT: i ask about vzw customers because after reading thru back to pg 1981 where the 1st post for these builds started i noticed sprint,bell,metro,acs all have had no problems which makes me curious were key "vzw" provisionals and such not cooked in?

NRG just wanted to say great ROM. Everything is working for me just perfect. HTC messaging, picture mail, photo & videos, battery life's pretty good, just all around working great. Thank You.


I guess the only thing that isn't working is the link between facebook and WinMo contacts.
