OK, running the 28005 27.Nov.2009 M2.5. NRG is really giving me a workout with all these new releases, but it's getting better all the time. Some questions:
I want to disable the sense SMS and use the old winmo version. I have tried the steps in THREEFACES' walk-through (specifically,
THIS page), but there is one major problem: the registry key in step 2 is missing. "HKLM\system\inbox\externalaccounts" Nuh-uh. Not there. On this build or the last few I've tried.
Wtf mate? What now?
Next, any good tricks to speed up the interface or has NRG pretty much optimized it already? I've seen reg edits to increase memory allocations for manila and file system caches and stuff? I don't use many programs, I'd gladly give up some memory to manilla or whatever. Also, what about this Performance.exe that is supposed to "overclock" the TP ?!? Does it work?
Last, any way to disable activesync? I don't use it and its taking up 620k memory.
