Working on it...I have a new Guide, but need to recheck it all before I post it. I think I have MMs working, but only by using one of the program quick links set to WinMo Messaging, so I could go in and view a recieved pic. I get the notification in Manila and see an attachment, but going into the HTC Text app doesn't let me see anything. ...kinda weird.

I basically ran the removal cab, soft rest, installed Arcsoft, soft reset. I'm going to try installing an older version of Arcsoft [linked in the Guide still] to see if it integrates any better.

Sprint sometimes has lag...but I also think the MMS send/recieve is slow. This could be related to the 1x switching issue others have reported. I had a few moments where texts werent sending, but then would all go through suddenly. ...again, still testing.

So...sms is good out of the box. do the normal proceedure for MMS and see if that works. You'll need to go to Messaging from the start menu to view recieved pics though.

Thanks fellas. The support in these forums is great!! I re-read some post a few pages back and tried the Zenyee HTC messaging disable cab and now I'm getting faster results with MMS. I found that the quickest way to send a photo is actually from the photos/camera tab and then selecting to use mms. It transmitted in EVDO rather than 1x.

thanks for the cab root!!!! also strangely my mms started working with the new sms/mms that was cooked in the rom,been testing all morning working great too,only thing is it now no longer shows any notifications from sms/mms but i can live with that,has this happened with anybody else??? i dunno im clueless!!!

Personalizer 3.1 does the trick. Dont use an older version-messes with MMS. 3.1 is in the threads attached files (link in my sig). You may see it fluctuate occasionally from your customization back to the carrier based on network/tower switching, or after a reset but it usually only lasts a sec. While roaming it may be blank. Very cool.

That same program (as ahuskins and Murucky and others have posted about) can give you this look as well as more Program tabs-12-far inferior to root's 16 tabs but still an improvement

Oh I know bro . I'm gonna test this stuff on my R2 release now just for the hell of it, since I plan on going to 11/05 at some point today. Thanks for the info.

Winmo, Root, Murducky - Have you noticed that the Theme I posted also fixes the slider date issues on the calendar tab? Also, the latest ver. of the theme 2.5, I think, works like a charm and has more program tabs as well as a few more options.
Pretty sweet. I sent the dev a pm asking if it was possible to fix the fullscreen issue as that is really the only problem with the theme. Actually, there is one other issue in that one of the background wallpaper settings pulls the incorrect manila file when you go to fullscreen. Its the landscape NRG background.

Just installed the Max2.5 cab and it is pretty sweet.
Need to check on making more panoramic walls for the home tab.
Has a few bugs but 20 fav slots, clean home tab and animated analog widget clock is nice.
