There is a fix for that.

Install the Zenyee disable htc messaging AND the MMS fix (M2.5)(Sprint)(Valkyrie). There are multiple carrier versions of the last one. I'm trying to find the links again. Will post when I get them.

ENSURE THAT YOU KILL tmail.exe using the supplied taskmanager first or it won't install. Reboot and voila!

(Note: setting the text input settings, including T9, only seem to affect input from the virtual keyboard, the physical keyboard input/state is completely unchanged)

Did you install Juicy 47 Western EZ Input? If not try that, cab is in the thread attached files which is linked in my sig.

it is flawless after I have installed the following cabs:
- remove picturemail & arcsoft.cab
- disable sms sent notification.cab
- duttys_facebook)upload_fix.cab
- juicy47 western ezinput.cab
- htc_album_+_socialnetworks.cab
- zenyee disable htc messaging.cab
- sprint arcsoft mms 5.0.82.79.cab

mms server settings:
Server name: Sprint
Gateway: (leave in blank)
Port number: 80
Server address: http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/mms
Connect via: Internet
Sending size limitation: 300kb
WAP: Select WAP 2.0

I am able to reply back to messages fine.
I noticed when someone replies back to my mms it sends it back as a mms message (looks like a picturemail), but you can still read & reply to the message. It's no biggie.

my garmin xt is running with no problems. Im on the 21864. I am also running garmin xt from the sd card if that makes a difference. When i was on 23081 i was a problem getting it to work.

Try flashing back to stock, flashing 21864, and then running garmin xt from an sd card. If you want to be ale to access it through the GPS folder in the start menu, simply make a shortcut with total commander.

Check that. You may not need this one. Still checking.
