You want the other build 21864, not 23081. You can still have 2.5, but with the taskbar up top.

Yea, on the Oct 28th Build. ...works flawlessly. I would use that release if you're looking for 100% functionality until an updated 2.5 comes out or we come up with some solid workaround action.

2.5 is new...all of these little problems will be addressed in time. If you're really pressed, google search to see if there are other solutions floating around and report back.

that's like asking, "is there the perfect girl out there?" The answer is doubtful. you just have to find the one that is ok to take home to mom, but still freaky enough you don't have to spend a fortune on hookers... cause that gets expensive!

I don't see why we wouldn't. I started this whole Manila thing trying to get xboxmod's original port on my device running a stock ROM. ...you can say we've come a LONG way since then.

MMS works perfectly for all of the older builds. Texting in general seems to be giving us headaches in Manila 2.5 because of a major change in the application. Folks ahve been able to get SMS working by knocking the HTC application out and reverting to the classic WinMo style.

Give the geeks more time to play with this stuff. It blows my mind how much functionality we're able to squeeze out of the Touch Pro at this point. ...give VGA 2.5 a chance to have all of the bugs worked out. Patience.

In the meantime, if you need 100% functionality, I would install a version of this ROM that is already known to work perfectly and hold out for an updated 2.5 or some new fixes.

now i get an message from 9230: your msg could not be delivered because invalid destination account.
IDK what to do. I did get one message to send if i went to start/internet/msg/new msg but thats it

Well, i've been using 23081 (Nov.4th build since this morning) and it's perfect, but working fine and somewhat quick. I did notice the mentioend keyboard problem (fixed with standard 2 fixes.) and Opera not loading up, and the sms (no button) problem (also fixed by grabbing 2 cabs out there, pyro-something i think), but otherwise it's working fine. Also, adding contact's froze it a few times initially.
Wanting to test some more before trying the 21864 2.5 rom next, only since i love the new layout of 6.5.1. But it seems less bugs are on the 21864 so i might try it sooner then later. But otherwise, an amazing job by NRG!!!!!!! Many thanks.
