Re: |H|ROM|6.5.1|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23071/21864) ** | Oct 22nd | Manila 2.1

When I tried 2.5 I was wondering how they could say it was 99% complete because so much just didn't work. I guess 95% of the job was to just get it to run at all with crashing on startup. The other 5% was to make it functional.

Honestly, I don't think 2.5 will ever be out for VGA. The post at XDA has said 99% done for like a month or so now. 99% is daaaamn close. You would think it would only take a few days to get to 100. I'm no developer, so I don't know. I think they'd be better off calling it 70% done or something. I don't know.

Those talking about Kinoma Freeplay, just buy the full version if you can afford because it is so worth it! I have been using the full version for over a year. Kinoma + Orb = is worth every penny of it. I think you should be activate over wifi or plugged into your pc via activesync.

I second that! I was reluctant to buy because I bought the Kinoma player for PalmOS a few years ago and it was not much. Now with the ORB player alone it makes it well worth it. I have a PVR running the ORB server software on it. I have access to all my recorded shows and movies and it works great, especially when I am in a EVDO Rev A coverage area. With the Market place and other plug-ins, and the screen rotation on viewing pics, it's kind of the swiss-army-knife of apps.

Totally worth it for me too. Especially with the discount I got. I used the blockbuster trialpay option long enough to get my activation code. After that, I cancelled blockbuster and ended up out of pocket 5.99 for Kinoma Full. I guess I could've used the blockbuster thing for a month, but screw it. I download all my movies so what's the point of renting an actual disc?

23071 is the one I am using and I really like it.

21864 is more like what NRG has been releasing up until 23071.

Both are great roms.
?? You're saying that even the 23071 Standard doesn't include titanium with manila this time? I guess that keeps me from upgrading as I like to switch back and forth between them.

So the Standard is actually "manila" and the Titanium includes just titanium today screen?

Thanks.

I flashed 23071 yesturday, and got lock up when in messaging twice. did flash dance, and today got to lock ups in messaging again, and once on my way home trying out the gps, i use IGO...

other than these lock ups seems to be a solid rom, I'm using titanium because Im with verizon, and touchflo kills my ram..
