I'm not sure why it's happening to me. I am using a Touch Pro Sprint CDMA, been using sept.142R, but i tried downloading oct.22 (23071) build and downloaded it 2 times, and i flashed to stock-reset-reset again each tiem, but for some reason it just shows "Touch Pro" initially for about 10 seconds or so, then turns black, vibrates once, then shows "Touch Pro" and does that in an endless loop. I thought at first it may have been a bad rom uploaded, so then i grabbed the oct.22(23016), and was just going to update that and use that over my sept version, and found it's doing the exact same thing.
As i said, i flashed back to stock, reset,etc, and re-downlaoded both 2 times, also tried flashing using both the USB cord as well as using the memory stick, and getting the same results each time. So i flashed back to sept.14R2 version and it's working fine. Any help????

I feel I'm missing something in my installation of 23071 - the install seems to be a basic WM6.5.1 setup with no "frills". There was a very short customization after the initial setup, but nothing appears to be installed. Also, during the flash process, the Update Utility timed out, but the upload appeared to complete on the TP itself, but I had to soft-reset the phone manually.

Am I missing something?

is anyone else having an issue with the taskbar icons not being the standard blue ones on the 23016 build, the signal icon was blue but the rest the standard windows mobile icons. trying flash dance now just curious?

I copied the image file to the SD Card and booted from there - much better!

yes, same here but everything else so far seems pretty solid, but have only been playing with it for a little while.

Got home from work and now one of the first to say the 21864 didn't work now is able to flash the working version.



AHHHH...Much better. So far so good. As always phone and GPS check out alright. Life is so much better since I got my sashimi working. I just don't see how anyone likes the Fancier (lulz) UI of 23071.

ok i am glad it is just not me then, i tried the flash dance and then reflashed nrg 23071 and same thing. o well glad i know it is just not my device though.

Ok, found an issue, i froze up and was forced to SR 2 times in messaging. once when tring to open and send a new mms. and the scond time trying to insert a name in the to feild, also in a new mms..
