see if this solves your problem, I had the same issue on tons of different ROMs any time I used advanced config or Diamond tweak. the Registry edit is the first response down..

i've found a few registry keys that might be relevant to my probelm:
HKLM\Comm\InternetSharing\Extension=OEMAGW.dll (I beleive that's different than a stock ROM)
HKLM\ControlPanel\WiFi Internet Sharing\Group=2

If these aren't it, then I'm going to need some more experienced help going through my registy.. I know what I'm doing but I haven't played around with it enough to be sure. I've never messed with any connection settings before now either, so this really is my worst problems on this phone haha, everything else i usually figure out

I just looked in my registry and found HKLM\Comm\InternetSharing\Extension=OEMAGW.dll just as you have; but I don't show this extension: HKLM\ControlPanel\WiFi Internet Sharing\Group=2.
I have only HKLM\ControlPanel\WiFi with values for ScanInterval and Timeout

You say the email works again after a soft reset though?
That is odd and I can't think of what might cause that off the top of my head.

Can you explain exactly what it does?
Will it let you open the email header view or won't open the email at all?
Does it just not let you open the email by clicking on the header/preview?

I can see a preview of the message from the email tab, but when I select it, it doesn't open up the message like it's supposed to. If I press the "inbox" tab it doesn't open the inbox either. Sometimes when I select the message the phone freezes for a little while and then becomes responsive again. A soft reset clears it up, until the next time. I had this problem with earlier versions of Juicy 8, but then it went away. I'll give cleanRAM a try. Thanks

I'd rather not be running the old version because I know NRG doesn't support it anymore, but if you want to receive MMS on Alltel this is the newest version I can run. I have compared the Arcsoft Registry between versions and there are very few differences after a fresh install, but it seems a few entries might be created when the first message is received??? Anyway, I've tried to restore the July 27th Arcsoft registry on top of the other versions with no luck either.

Sorry for writing a book about this...Guess I could have just said Alltel users wanting MMS can try the July 27th version.

no problem with mms in any version of rom do this....installin order posted noneed to tell me about redundant files...i know,but i also know its worked on every release of THIS rom with alltell

Mine did that on Energy 8/1 at first.
I did a stock flash then back and it never did it again.

Question - where is the "Clear Storage" icon? Or is it not included in this ROM?
