I don't think the battery is that bad. Coming from the SsS ROM, I'd say the battery life is about the same.

I'm on 7/22 build with Verizon radio unplugged the phone at 7:30am made a few calls received a few emails , sent a few text I'm at 56% now its 9:51 pm that's about 14 hours.

thats a known bug and there hasn't been a fix for it, it was in the 7/29 build too
