damn i wasnt able to flash the new rom via sd method just now. the other day i formatted my 8gb sdhc card with the fat32 settings and default allocation size and unchecks quick format, what did i do wrong? i extracted the rar to my root sd directory, went into bootloader and breifly saw it say image not found then it went into serial mode

Make sure

ItemCount = 3

and

ItemName3 = Roam Only

If you look further down, the Roam Only option is there, but listed as ItemName5. For some reason there are only 3 in the dropdown so this will have to do for now.

Do a soft reset and go back to Phone > Services > Network Service > Get Settings and you can select Roam Only.

Note, this will force your connection to only roam and that means 1x on VZW and possibly Alltell. You may still be able to get EV on Alltell.

Thanks for this... I was looking for Mode of Operation page (for those who want to extend the battery life in a low signal area) for some reason Juicy ROM has it but not Energy ROM... so using the same key:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\PhoneSetting

HiddenModeOperationPage = 0 will bring back the manual data network select.

See? THAT'S why I'm waiting to get home. Just busting. I know SD flash is possible, but 729 will only be my 3rd(!)flash so I'm still learning the PC flash. I am really enjoying the learning process from this incredible community!
I think NRG cooks some crack into his builds cuz I'm already addicted! Good luck with your issue, I'll "lurk" and learn.

Hey guys, I just flashed this rom on my Sprint TP on VW, and I can't seem to get g alarm mapped to my home clock. I already downloaded and installed the cab on the first page, what else can i do?

Also, is there a keyboard cab out there that has compact qwerty on it? thanks

Try using this 1, make sure u reset the device once it installs

On a brighter note, my new rom is moving at lighting speed and I've only found one bug and that's with facebook, it says connection failed but my data connection is fine !!! Another stellar rom, Thanks !!!

NRG I was wondering, I use a cab called InboxExtender it was originally designed for mobile 6.1. I used it on my Moto Q and still use it on your ROM. It adds mark all as read in my inbox. It makes it so I don't have to go to each email and mark it as read. Is there anyway to add this to your ROM? I wonder if anyone else would use it or if someone knows of another way to mark all emails as read with out the cab I would love to know.

That's a know bug it will work just fill in your info and just go back give it a minute it will find ya.
