dont know what these did, but its working sooo here:

BandWidth = 1 (changed this was 0) - seems to load videos twice as fast with this...
EnableAudioHW = 0 (changed this to 0 was 1)
EnableMDP = 0 (changed this to 0 was 1)
EnableSW = 1 (changed this to 1 was 0)

everything else is pretty much the same as it was by default

if anyone wants to test these setting please do so we can confirm a fix

Confirmed... in fact, EnableMDP = 1 will present the 'Cannot play video' error. Setting to 0 seems to fix it properly. Nice find!!!

EnableAudioHW = 1 will make the video mute.
BandWidth = 1 seems to be a bandwidth limiter, setting it 0 makes my videos load faster.
EnableSW = 1 does not seem to do anything at all.

I'll give it a shot.

...someone give NRG a cookie!

And yes, the WorldClock to GAlarm works...its working on my device right now running 7/22. the error you saw is the cab failing...when you see that error, soft reset. If it persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling, or follow some of the steps i have the guide thingy in my sig. I promise...I just touched WorldClock and it went to GAlarm and has since i configured it. I'm not saying you might not get that error every once in awhile, but it's an easy soft reset to fix it.

Great ROM thank you for your work. I used your 20090709 which had a great feature. When I used ActiveSync with that ROM I did not have to click OK to accept the exchange policy to start syncing my items (this only happens after running ActiveSync the first time after configuration)

I have discovered that the entry in the registry is value is named POLICYTOASTACCEPTED

my question is how can I get this feature on your more recent ROMs?

I think I'm on to something here
I noticed with the previous build 20070709 it has this entry in registry
Quote:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\HTCAP]
"PolicyToastAccepted"=dword:00000001
"Prefix"="HAP"
"Index"=dword:00000000
"Order"=dword:00000009
"Keep"=dword:00000001
"Context"=dword:00000001
"DisplayName"="HTC Application Service"
"Description"="HTC Application Service"
"Dll"="HTCApplication.dll"
The most recent ROM does not have it, I this is why it's not auto accepting the 'TOAST'

Nope, Installed it on the new ROM and still the same thing. I guess I'll be going back to stock. No use in having a phone I can't answer.

Alright with that info I am able to create a cab so you dont have to change the reg entries manually, so here try this (see attached)

Thank you for the CAB, I too am working on the registry cab, thing is I need two files to copy to the windows directory and that is something that I haven't figured out yet, how to get files in a cab file to copy over during the install, the two files are attached

I just tested it and moving the files over manually to \Windows and installing the cabbed registry tweak worked!!!! Now I can use my SDConfig.txt /mortscript to get the Sync working without user input!!!!!
