I think I'll give it a shot now - give me some hours to flash, do the walk through, and see what changes/bugs I can find. I'll post up when I'm done.

...this is also true. I've found I can update the guide as I customize, but I usually need a day or two to work it out - after finding bugs, new work arounds, and whatnot.

Backups are almost complete...then, rocking the highway to flash city!

Fat Boy, good to see you using this ROM. Loved your work on the old Touch HD port .
Darnell,
Thanks, its been awhile for me but WOW just WOW. I can't get my appointment to sync the correct time because of the clock issue. I'm an hour off. I read the fix in post #4 but this doesnt work when trying to sync appointment. Does anyone have or know a fix? Thanks.

Thanks.
Search the forums for clocks. Here is one I saw:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=45497
I recommend using the ROM for a day or two before applying customizations in order to get a good idea for how the ROM runs. Customizations and clocks sometimes do not play well with new ROMs. You can also check over at xda-developers if none of the clocks here work well.

Appointment information doesn't have anything to do with the clock itself. Some "clock" cabs include other customizations that may interfere with appointments though.

Thanks for the fix, I myself prefer no start up sound... I know it's starting up I don't need a sound to let me know... ha ha

I disable start up sound on anything/everything I can, again it's just a personal preference

Re: |HERM|ROM|6.5|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Mercury' (21921) ** || Built July 22nd ||

I was on the 7/9 Standard RD ROM for a while without any problem, but suddenly yesterday it started the problem of not answering when you slide again. I had about 5 calls in a row where I would slide to answer and it would just freeze up without answering. This was after nearly 2 weeks of no problems at all.

So I upgraded to the 7/22 Standard RD ROM today, but I'm already 1 for 2 with incoming calls showing this problem.

Does anybody have a handle on this issue? Could it be a Sprint problem? It doesn't seem to matter how strong my signal is when the call comes in. I don't believe I changed anything on the phone yesterday software wise that could have caused this bug to show up.

Any help would be appreciated. This is a pretty frustrating problem -- answering a call is pretty fundamental to the basic usefulness of a phone.

Read one of the guides in my sig - there's a section for setting up your clock and how to address the appointments being off. There's a little dance you'll need to do, but it works for me everytime.

Yea, use the method in the guide ThreeFaces wrote up. That's the method I use. Some other suggested methods didn't work for me too. But ThreeFaces' method works great for me.
