PICTURE MAIL
38. Run the Remove Picture Mail & Arcsoft cab [soft reset is recommended…do it]
39. Run Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79 cab [requires soft reset]
40. You should now have picture mail installed. NOTE: picture mail is now part of your regular text messaging – it’s not in a special separate location. Received picture mail will show up in the threaded view along with your other text messages for a given contact…except they’ll have an attachment icon. Click the attachment…view the pic. In the new TouchFlo text screen, click Menu-Reply with MMS to send a pic message to a contact. In the old messaging view, I believe you can simply attach a pic to your message [in the message options].
Let's try Dudette dear and no because I am no Sprint, I am Verizon. Is there a Verizon Arcsoft MMS cab somewhere???

Re: |HERM|ROM|6.5|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Mercury' (21921) ** || Built July 14th ||

hey everyone.. i too just switced to this from psyki to this rom and at first was loving it! its as fast as psyki3 and the 6.5 interface is nice too.

only 1 problem... i restored my sprite backup (only msgs and email) and when you click on a msg to reply everything is fine. when you hit the back button or click ok to be taken back to windows messaging inbox again, it freezes for up to 3 mins at a time!!

i have never had any problems restoring my backup with any rom before. i tried hard reset and restore to no avail. sprint touch pro.. if you have any ideas so that i can keep this wonderful rom, please reply!

I'm fully into gender equality...everyone's dudes.

I've seen MMS cabs for Alltel and Sprint, but I do not know about Verizon. Sorry dudette. <--see, it just rolls off the tongue all weird.

Better to use ActiveSync/PIMBackup/MyPhone - Sprite is almost too and may have restored something that isn't playing nice with the messaging interface.

The 'RD' build has the regular 'HTC' dialer like the version which had Tachi listed as 'removed' -- and you can always go back to the windows standard dialer from within any build...
Thanks for the info!
How would I go back to the windows standard? Just uninstall the Tachi one?

There is an option under Start > Utilities > Tweaks > Advanced Config in the 'Phone' section called 'Phone Skin' which can be disabled to switch to the default Windows Mobile dialer, but I have not tested it recently -- I assume it still works.

There are probably a variety of other .cab files around to switch from Tachi to HTC, but the Windows mobile dialer is always there...

I heard that with the windows Dialer there are issues, like names not coming up in phone history and Bluetooth not working. have those issues been worked out?
