is there a tric to get mms working? i downloaded mms cab for vzw. but when i try to send video i get send error.?

I am on Alltel. I had to install the arcsoft for alltel, then go in to the settings for mms. Got to sms hit menu soft key then go down to pic/vid message options. I had to change the send via to send via internet rather than send via network. Like I said though I am Alltel so it may be diff for you but it's worth a shot. Keep in mind that it will use data rather than typical network signal.

Was looking at the Sprint TP2 videos and I notice the lack of flash for the camera. ?
Why remove that?

Think I will stick with my TP for a while.

tried switching to send via internet. but dont work, i cant send or recieve pic or video...

I had two locations a general central time zone that kept reverting to my default location and my custom city. They are both in the same time zone but my custom city would somehow go back 7 hrs. SO I deleted the default location and left my custom city only. Bingo wow I totaly overthought my ordeal.Its been a few hours, a couple test soft resets and 1 ram cleaning and I am still good to go. weather in the calander, still good on times, and no off time notifications. Good luck. I've done that numerous times. It always seems to revert to the same issue as pastert33. My fear is it's only a matter of time...

Ensure that you have the correct entries in the following fields:
Pics/Videos Options >
Servers Tab > Click on the server listed > Server address should most likely be:
http://mms.vzw.com/servlets/MMS
Port = 80

Ok my bad, I was typing on the TP and got too fast and hit submit before I realized half of what I typed didn't show because I hit the smiley and didn't retap the text box....... I would first check out rezns faq/link post #4, and also the man ThreeFaces guide to setting up the ROM. Both have some specific information regarding setting up MMS and dealing with the issue. Sorry I couldn't help more, but all I had to do was switch the send via as I mentioned and I am sending mms daily.

YOU CALLED IT. Out of nowhere I now have a new location for my time zone, and the time changed for my custom city time 5 hrs back from actual time. Weird thing is for me it is keeping all my appointments on the right times.............. OK back to clicking world clock, clicking custom city as default, then looking at calender if I want weather with apts...... I think I'll just use my weather tab for weather, check my homepage for appts and not worry about this one for awhile...... I never used the feature anyway or had any time issues so not a bg deal. Sorry I couldn't help.....
