In my case all I did was install some othe programs I use via cab files and after resetting my KB worked. I didn't install anything specifically for the keyboard.

You shouldn't need cabs for the keyboard. For me, it worked after a soft reset.

As for a task manager, there's a button for ArkSwitch in the top-right corner of the screen from the home (it should look like an arrow pointing down). Alternetavely, you can click the bar at the top in a blank area while in an app.

Right, no specific cabs, just install anything & reset if resetting alone doesn't work. Again, maybe it's just superstition, or maybe it needs a cab that prompts for a restart, but that's what folks are talking about.

FYI, 3 new 23673 build Sense 2.5 Cookie ROMs are up. Supposedly as fast as 21911, new Facebook tab, but no native threaded email support. NRG says there's a cab somewhere in the intertubes to restore threaded email if anybody cares to find it. Here's the changelog from the Leo, most should be applicable to the Herman:

been running Energy.HERMAN.23673.Sense2.5.Cookie.Jul.17.7z since early this morning. absolutely solid so far. I have not tested the cht lock though, just want to make sure nothing else is funny first

Weird, since i installed it before going to the lake today, i installed 23673 on my touch pro, herman.23673.sense2.5.cookie, and found it a number of times lagging randomly and also freezing, but not locking up, but bad enough to have to reset it to get things working and usable again.
Just task'ed 29 it on the last 21911 version offered before the other day, but will still reflash after doing this to eliminate this as the cause, since frizzlefry pointed out he installed it and it's working fine.
I don't ever use cht lock, but is odd enough to see this kind of different results. Was low on energy a few times since i was on the lake the whole time, could be possible also that it's part of the reason. Will test a bit more first before task 29'ing it and reflashing.

Dear NGR, all best things to you sir...one tiny problem i've been having lately is the host to download, you see that so much more complicated than the old good time hotfile, capcha, waiting time, load,etc...so i just hope that you could do one small favor for me (or as all other fellows who have problems downloading) by uploading to hotfile again, thanks you very much for all you've done for us. I've been flashing my TP for over a year now and very, very, rarely have I ever had any problems with ROM's the way they are described here on this forum. Must be very lucky I guess...
