Speed, stability, battery, memory leaks - which is better for these, 21xxx or 23xxx? I like to ask from time to time to see if anything has changed.

hey guys, using 21911 so far so good, but I am having trouble with the kinetic scrolling system in the start menu. When I scroll, it only seems to scroll a page of icons rather than the whole start menu.

Anyone else getting this? is there an easy fix?

Running 21911 MaxSense, looks great. MaxSense actually scrolls much smoother than Cookie in the last 23569 ROM! Out of curiosity, I think I'll try out Cookie when I get home.

Not seeing any Kenetic scrolling problems. Is it just me or does the icon scrolling seem way smoother...and everything just snappier in general?

MaxSense 23569 July14 works great! I am still not too comfortable with it. Tried Dinik.Glass after a few hours with MaxSense. That is teh sexy!

Loving this new build! Fast, and reliable so far! Thanks again! Keep up the great work man! But only one problem. My TP freezes whenever I get out of a text message. Had this problem with the other ones, and was hoping that this would fix that. Anyone else have this problem?

try the 21911 instead of the 23569 rom, thats the way they are made

No cab that I'm aware of, but you can use the 2.1 release which has the start button on the top.

yea, def use the 2.1 build for the top start menu. I had been using the 2.1, June 2nd build, and upped it to the july 13th 23569 and here are my findings so far.


I really like the maxsense UI setup. It really opens up space on the homescreen, and I like the droid type interface of going from one screen to another.

Overall, the rom seems to be pretty fast. I did find the 2.1 build to be alittle faster IMO, but like the op states, the 2.1 is more stable, so I just attribute it to this. And its really a small difference from each other, and a huge improvement from stock.

On issue that I am having is with texting. When I slide my keyboard out and go into landscape. . . . the icons to go from the text, to other types of responding stays up, and blocks my view of the reply box. I can tinker with it, and make it go away eventually, but it seems to be up there every time. I am assuming that no one else is having this issue, otherwise I would have read others stating the same issue.

And the other thing I noticed, is with the battery wiget. When I turn the screen off for a few mins, and turn it back on, the battery is always showing 100%. . . but after about 45secs, it reads the correct %. Not a real bother, but it is worth mentioning.

Aside from those 2 things. . . . the roms are great!!!!!
