That cuz ka'put'ski blocks your computer from being able to do anything, even stuff you tell it to do.. I use winrar for extraction and have never had any issues.. Also for the love of god there are not any virus in these roms. Thanks NRG for sticking with us and like others on here I believe we will buy our next phones that you cook for.. Now if only we could tell HTC that so they know your value..

Yea this guy needs to be working for HTC he makes some of the best roms.

if he ever worked for htc you think he would be able to put out better roms than htc does now?

lol they would limit his ass and we wouldn't see these many updates and such amazing roms.

htc wants ur phone to messup so u go out and buy another one.
if anything htc would put a hit out for him.

im digging a bomb shelter for him so after 2012 he can rebuild the cell phone networks... lol

haha nice.. Thats what ham radio is for when the world ends.. I think HTC probably does limit their ROMs because they "want" a product to be 100% stable rather than 99% stable with a lot of more cool stuff to make it better.. To them its a phone and grampa needs to be able to use it too.. The problem is HTC's rom still isn't stable.. This phone is only sopposed to run WM6.1 and everyone who flashes in my town didn't even think 6.5 was possible on this TP1.. NRG is even more admazing in the fact that he cooks ROMs for many many different devices and updates them all.. I believe we all think that this device, along with other phones, are crap without these ROM's.. Thanks NRG for all you do.

Thanks.... I disabled Kaspersky Web guard and re-downloaded both files, and voila it worked. After inspecting my anti-virus logs, I discovered that it was flagging the Custom Ruu as a trojan and was preventing the download of the archive. Weird HUH.... not sure why it would flag it as a torjan espically coming form such a reputiable source. I did notice that these July 14 updates were the first Energy Rom file that included the RUU, ofcourse I have only been using Custome Roms since 6/26/10. I tried the fresh install of 7zip first and then came to this conclusion. Thanks for the reply! NRG is the man!

Been using the July 14th Cookie rom for a couple hours ago, so far so good, and my youtube finally works! (Had June 12 last and videos wouldn't play)

This is the fastest Energy release I have used yet and I'm not usually big on when people say that because most have felt the same. This one is definitely snappier than anything else I've used. Thanks a bunch for continuing work on this for us stone-age Touch Pro users

Actually, Microsoft makes the ROMS to the specifications of the manufacturers device hardware. The manufacturer has little say as to what is included into the ROM other than its own proprietary software (IE TouchFlo and Sense.) Its the actual carrier of the device(s)that has the most say as to what, and how much of, programs and software is included into the ROMs.
