When I fashdance I only do it when moving from two different ROMs like Roots ROM to NRGz ROM. If I'm just updating from one NRG ROM to another I don't bother and I have never had an issue. I do however hard reset the NRG ROM as soon as its done setting up.

Now if I'm going to flashdance I use the latest ROM available from HTC. Why? Well that ROM includes the latest PRI if you flash an older ROM your going to get an old out of date PRI and then you'll have to mess around with that too.

Amen! This actually makes sense. No need to flash dance when flashing an NRG ROM over an NRG ROM. This is how I do it with each new release and I sometimes don't even do the hard reset and I have never ever ever had problems that a flash dance cured.

I had to go into bootloader mode on my touch by pressing the power button, down volume and pressing the reset via the stylus for about 3-5 seconds, then you can plus to computer and reflash. I was stuck last weekend in the Touch Pro boot screen and could not hard reset either.

Go into bootloader-->flash stock rom---> when done loading, go to settings>system>clear memory..enter 1234 to confirm-->phone does a complete re-load-->go to bootloader--->flash custom rom--->when done loading>setting>system>wipe device. When done, phone is ready for setup of you liking.

Hey Guys,

I searched the forum and couldn't find this, so maybe you can help me out.

I'm running the EnergyROM_28011_HERMAN_12.Dec.2009_StandardM2.5_Ma xManila.rar ROM on SPRINT.
I usually do the Flash Dance (Stock, HR, EnergyRom, HR)

I have noticed this problem in the past too but not enough to warrant me to dig deeper into this. I was wondering if anyone else found a way to fix this.

When I get a 2 or 3 part text, It only shows me the first part.

I have done the HTC Messenger Uninstall and ArcSoft MMS install.

Also sometimes I bet dangling notifcations, Phone shows new text but there aren't any.

Any suggestions?
