Not nearly like the last release. Text works absolutely brilliant. MMS, after testing, didn't REQUIRE that I take the time to do Arcsoft install. I was able to receive them directly, but it was a little convoluted. Still, I so rarely use MMS that it's a non-issue. If running these 2 cabs (uninstall picturemail, install arcsoft) is as easy as the instructions read, it's no reason at all not to take the plunge and try this ROM. It's blazing fast for sure.

Also, noobynoob, maybe you have some insight here...is the Facebook upload fix and HTC Album + SocialNetworking still required? I remember in a previous rom I was able to upload straight from photos...now it seems I have to log in to Facebook app to do so. Again, really this is a non-issue. I'm just pleased with how fast the thing runs and it seems stable so far.

Im new to flashing roms and of all the roms Ive looked at this one is sweet. I just wanna say, I think everyone who put the time and effort in making this possible is awesome.

Ive tried looking back in previous posts, but has anyone found a fix for the MMS issue yet. I have service with Alltel and I can not send or receive any MMS.

I listened to noobynoob and ran the cab to remove Picturemail and arcsoft, then install arcsoft 5.0. I'm not sure if the same fix applies to Alltel.

*sigh* Ok one more minor minor issue...every time I restart the phone, Opera loads up. Why? I mean, it's simple enough to remove it from startup one way or another but...is it suppose to do this? Is it something I did?

Thans NRGZ... Been waiting for this one. Saw you updated the TP2 roms the other day and have been waiting on the update to the TP.

Again, the link is not up on post 1, but if you go back 2 or 3 pages, you'll find it. I still don't think I have 10 posts yet, so it won't let me post links...but it's there.

Well its not sounding too good. This is what I'm used too:

Install ROM send picture mail, receive picture mail.

Install ROM send text, receive text.

If any other steps are needed then its not working OTB.

1 question

When I slide out my keyboard at the home screen, I just get a primarily black screen with the windows button, phone, and menu at the bottom and nothing else really. Is this normal behavior of the rom?

edit : I am using the standard version of the ROM released before the jan 18th version

Not really on facebook through the socialnetworking client, I use the facebook 1.1 app. Works for me with no issues. I am getting the same issue with opera but I am sure a fix would be coming out soon. No worries, people on here are quick to post fixes when found. Give it a while....its coming.=D>
